The purpose of this study is to approach the pornographic field from the perspective of the Foucauldian biopolitical system, of biotechnologies and the digital sphere, where sexuality represents the area of manifestation for the new power games, within the limits of a global and technological capitalism. The general objective seeks to approach the issue of sexuality and pornography from the perspective of posthumanism and postgender as new forms of knowledge-power, of the shaping and supervision of the individual, where biomedicine and pharmacy are the key to the standardization of the body and its sexual performances, through technological immersions. The theoretical objective is aimed at demonstrating the fact that, in the current conditions, the pornographic world is going through a major shift in paradigm due to the virtual space of biodigital machinery, together with artificial intelligence. This is how it is possible to shift from the utopic world of pornography (pornotopia), to the dystopic world of pornography, which is governed by technology and the technologization of human nature. The methodology used is argumentation and Foucauldian philosophical criticism, Deleuzian deconstruction and argumentation, based on the philosophy of Derrida and Žižek, in the approach of a perverse biopolitical system.

The intersection of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and the adult industry represents a paradigmatic transformation in the contemporary sexual economy. Moving away from traditional narratives focused solely on the proliferation of synthetic visual content, this article analyzes the phenomenon through the lens of "creative destruction" and emotional capitalism. It is argued that GenAI is not simply automating distribution, but is eradicating the "emotional labor" behind platform-mediated sex work. Exploring the dislocation of precarious workers in the "sweatshops of intimacy", the algorithmic expropriation of identity through "Human Digital Twins", and the inhomogeneous regimes of "fantasy arbitration", the analysis finally shifts to the phenomenon of Synthetic Intimacy. The article concludes that the true horizon of industry is not the generation of perfect bodies, but the industrialization of affect and the systematic extraction of value from human solitude through the illusion of parasocial relationality.

En Argentina, la expansión acelerada de la economía de plataformas desde el 2020, junto con la retracción del comercio sexual callejero y puertas adentro –debido al despliegue de políticas antitrata y coyunturalmente a las medidas de aislamiento social, y a los temores sanitarios que despertó la pandemia de COVID-19–, habilitaron nuevas formas de comercio sexual. Un número creciente de mujeres se volcó a producir y comercializar contenido y servicios erótico-sexuales a través de plataformas digitales, donde los contactos con los clientes se encuentran mediatizados por dispositivos tecnológicos. Esta novedad inició un proceso, aún incipiente, de reconfiguración del trabajo sexual, históricamente estigmatizado, en muchos países no reconocido como un trabajo, y gobernado a través de la criminalización de quienes lo ejercen o participan de su reproducción. En este trabajo, de carácter preliminar, exploro algunas de las transformaciones vinculadas a la dinámica de plataformización, poniendo el foco en la reconfiguración de las experiencias de trabajo sexual. Indago sobre la irrupción y el alcance del ideario del emprendedurismo entre las trabajadoras sexuales; la transformación de las condiciones de trabajo –que parecieran oscilar entre la flexibilización y la autonomía, la precarización y la intensificación–; y la digitalización de la sociabilidad entre las mujeres. This paper interrogates the hyper-sexualisation of Asian women as a historically entrenched and structurally reproduced phenomenon situated at the nexus of race, gender, coloniality, and capitalist commodification. It advances the argument that racialised fetishisation is neither incidental nor culturally isolated, but rather a constitutive product of Western imperial expansion, subsequently reproduced and intensified through contemporary neo-colonial and neoliberal power formations. Drawing on Edward Said’s framework of Orientalism alongside Homi Bhabha’s theorisation of mimicry, the analysis deconstructs the figure of the “Oriental woman” as a discursive construct of Western imagination that continues to mediate and distort the lived realities of Asian women across temporal and spatial contexts.

Through a critical examination of colonial encounters, militarised histories, and contemporary regimes of media representation, the paper elucidates how Asian women have been simultaneously rendered hyper-visible as objects of eroticised desire and structurally invisible as autonomous subjects. It further demonstrates how these racialised and sexualised imaginaries materialise in concrete forms of harm, including gender-based violence and exploitative labour conditions, particularly within sectors shaped by global capitalist logics.

By situating fetishisation within an intersectional analytical framework, the paper contends that racism, sexism, and economic exploitation operate as mutually constitutive systems rather than discrete axes of oppression. It ultimately calls for a rigorous, intersectional praxis aimed at dismantling these interlocking structures, re-centring the agency of Asian women, and confronting the enduring epistemic and material legacies of colonial power in the contemporary moment.

Este artigo explora o intenso e multifacetado debate feminista acerca da pornografia, explorando as disputas em torno do significado e dos limites da pornografia para os feminismos e evidenciando como a definição atribuída a esse termo orienta práticas políticas, estratégias argumentativas e propostas de transformação social. O percurso
analítico estrutura-se em três partes: a delimitação conceitual da pornografia pelas
diferentes vertentes; a crítica à distinção entre pornografia e erotismo; e a discussão
sobre alternativas, como a pornografia ética, feminista e o pós-pornô. Em primeiro lugar,
através de um exame analítico-comparativo de autoras antipornografia (como MacKinnon,
Dworkin, Brownmiller) e pró-pornografia (como Rubin, Willis, Butler), o estudo contrasta suas definições. Enquanto a vertente antipornografia a vê como veículo de subordinação patriarcal e violência, a pró-pornografia a compreende como representação explícita da sexualidade, ativadora de prazer e ligada à indústria. Em seguida, o artigo aprofunda a crítica
pró-pornografia às distinções entre pornografia, erotismo e obscenidade, questionando critérios morais e subjetivos que perpetuam julgamentos e exclusões. Por fim, apresenta alternativas ao modelo hegemônico, como a pornografia ética, feminista e o pós-pornô, destacando iniciativas baseadas em respeito, diversidade e consentimento. A conclusão central é a convergência das correntes em torno da “sexualidade consentida”, que engloba um vasto espectro de práticas e desejos humanos pautados na vontade recíproca. As críticas internas ao feminismo são encaradas como um convite ao diálogo e à autocrítica, visando aprimorar estratégias contra o sexismo e promover a emancipação de corpos e  prazeres dissidentes.

How do perversion and capitalist discourse relate in the traumatic threesome scene in Pleasure (Thyberg, 2021)? We will turn to the Royal Spanish Academy (2025) with the definitions of pornography and pornographic, Román Gubern (2005) about pornographic cinema as spectacularization, and Gérard Lenne's (1978) distinction between eroticism and pornography in Ramón Freixas and Joan Bassa (2000). From Sigmund Freud (1919) we will address the origin of the masochistic perverse fantasy and Jacques Lacan (1972) his aphorism there is no sexual relation, the inversion of the fantasy and the denial of castration in perversion, in addition to his developments on capitalist discourse to arrive at Slavoj Žižek (2019) with his notion of pornography as intrinsically perverse and the paralyzed object-gaze. Alejandro Ariel's (1994) concepts of ethics and morality will be necessary, with the parallels between morality-aesthetics/ethics-style, and Jacques Lacan's (1960) elaborations on ethics surrounding desire. Finally, Ethical Porn according to Erika Lust (2025) will be presented, along with some commentaries by César Jones (2015, 2024, 2025).

Un gesto fundacional para la escritura sobre cine se cifra en Figuras del exceso. Desvíos de las narrativas heterosexuales en los cines clásicos: El caso de Manuel Romero en Argentina, de Agostina Invernizzi, licenciada en Artes Combinadas (Universidad de Buenos Aires) y magíster en Estudios de las Mujeres y de Género (Universidad de Bolonia y Universidad de Granada): su mirada insiste en descomponer el punto exacto en que las imágenes, que ya ha visto tantas otras veces, la siguen cautivando. En su afán por descubrir algo nuevo en lo ya conocido, la autora busca interlocutores cómplices, dispuestos a descubrir en las imágenes masivas del período de oro del cine clásico, desvíos y excesos (im)propios para su contexto de producción, distribución y exhibición.

La presente tesi indaga il fenomeno della “pornificazione” del cinema d’autore contemporaneo, ovvero l’assorbimento e la risignificazione di forme, linguaggi e dispositivi pornografici da parte di autori che operano all’interno del cinema d’essai. A partire dai limiti della rappresentazione secondo André Bazin, dalle teorie dei Porn Studies e dal concetto di “on/scenity” elaborato da Linda Williams, la ricerca ricostruisce un quadro teorico in cui le immagini pornografiche sono diventate una caratteristica riconoscibile della cultura visiva contemporanea.

Il sesso esplicito nel cinema d’autore, pur avendo precedenti significativi – come The Realm of the Senses (1976) di Nagisa Ōshima – conosce una nuova e più radicale intensificazione a partire dagli anni Novanta, in particolare con l’emersione del cosiddetto New French Extremity (James Quandt) e con l’analisi estetica e socioculturale proposta da Matthias Frey. In questo scenario, la pornografia viene progressivamente assunta come materia autoriale: non più (solo) per eccitare, ma per interrogare.

Dopo aver delineato una genealogia culturale della pornografia audiovisiva – dagli stag films alla sua proliferazione digitale – la tesi analizza due casi studio emblematici, entrambi nord-europei. Il primo è Nymphomaniac (2013) di Lars von Trier, dove la sessualità è rappresentata come trauma, colpa e sconfessione del piacere: un esempio di pornografia intellettuale che protende verso il film-saggio. Il secondo è Love (2015) di Gaspar Noé, che propone una forma di pornografia romantica e malinconica, in cui il sesso esplicito si intreccia con la memoria affettiva e viene amplificato, sul piano percettivo, attraverso l’uso del 3D.

Attraverso il confronto tra queste due opere, la tesi mostra come il cinema d’autore contemporaneo possa appropriarsi della pornografia per produrre senso critico. Nelle conclusioni, si riflette sullo statuto ibrido di queste forme, sull’importanza del contesto produttivo e distributivo nella definizione di pornografia, infine si valutano possibilità e confini dell’utilizzo di contenuti espliciti nel cinema d’autore.

This paper explores the role that the orificiality of bodies plays in the construction of sexual difference, departing from an interest in how the material body writes/ is written, understanding writing in a somatopolitical and biomolecular dimension. The ambiguous materiality of orifices, related to the transitory, the frontier and the porous, offers an excellent opportunity to reconsider the construction of sexed bodies, which, within a phallogocularcentric economy, have traditionally been articulated around visible and erectile organs. The paper begins by analyzing some of the dominant semantics of the orificial, such as the consideration of the hole as absent and the logic of its necessary filling. It continues by analyzing the notions of fluidity and pe-netrability, in relation to orificiality, from which it becomes possible to think some counter-logics of the orificial that lead us to new expressions of sexual difference written beyond the dichotomies presence/absence, active/passive, inside/outside, organ/ prosthesis, one/multiple. It will be argued that bodily orifices allow us to reimagine not only the categories feminine/masculine, male/female, and the preeminence that sexual organs have had in their definition, but also to deploy a range of differences, degrees, and nuances between these binaries that account for the potential that these orifices play in the complex writing of sexual difference.

Resumen. La obra pictórica del artista mexicano Nahum B. Zenil representa un importante precedente en el arte abiertamente homosexual en México. La corporeidad y el elemento autobiográfico representan los sujetos privilegiados de sus obras y se convierten en el campo de batalla de una lucha contra la discriminación hacia las minorías y en el principal objeto de auto-análisis psicológico y erótico. Esta investigación se propone analizar el trabajo del pintor veracruzano en busca de los elementos que lo vinculan a las corrientes artísticas nacionales e internacionales del pasado, en relación a la representación del cuerpo masculino, y del legado que está dejando para las nuevas generaciones de creativos queer mexicanos. Su propuesta, alimentada por mitos y simbologías personales o colectivas se planteó desde el principio de poner en entredicho la visión hegemónica de la historia y de los modelos masculinos heteropatriarcales. En la obra de Zenil, el tiempo, en sentido lineal, cíclico o suspendido, es el medio en el cual la identidad interseccional del pintor se construye, reconstruye y traviste a través de las herramientas psicoanalíticas de la máscara, del mito y del espejo, que le permiten adoptar una variedad infinita de nuevos personajes, la suma de los cuales conforma un archivo personal único por su excepcionalidad y lo acercan al mismo tiempo al ámbito de la llamada ecología queer y de la pospornografía. La riqueza de su propuesta artística, lleva a Nahum B. Zenil más allá del marco del Neomexicanismo, en el cual nunca se reconoció plenamente, para proyectarlo como el artista multidisciplinario e innovador que es.

Public and academic debates on pornography in Flanders are often shaped by moral panics regarding its effects on youth, narrowing the figure of ‘the porn consumer’ to heterosexual men while overlooking young people’s situated perspectives. Drawing on seven focus groups with 45 young adults (aged 20–25) of diverse gender and sexual identities, this study examines how participants conform, challenge, and/or counter cultural gendered and harm scripts. While some reaffirm dominant narratives, many – particularly queer participants – actively resist them through offline peer conversations and online sex-positive communities such as Reddit and BookTok. These findings underscore young people’s critical agency in reshaping cultural narratives around pornography and sex among peers.

The increasing prevalence of pornographic imagery in Western popular cultures has sparked public debates, with mostly moral panic as a result. Dominant discourses on pornography are mainly concerned with porn’s negative effects on white, male, and heterosexual consumers, whilst often sensationalising its alleged outcomes. Rooted in the media effects paradigm and drawing from a dominant Anglophone anti/pro porn rhetoric, these debates contribute to a transnational understanding of porn as an inherently negative or positive media text. By exclusively focusing on causal-effect relationships, this dominant discourse leaves little room for porn consumers’ unique intersecting identities, experiences, and contexts. The current paper maps to what extent local discourses on pornography reflect this binary perspective, by performing a Multimodal Critical Discourse Analysis (MCDA) in four Flemish newspapers. By doing so, it contributes to a move towards more critical perspectives in discourses on pornography.

A positive relationship between pageview and visit duration has been identified for several types of websites, including retail. However, pornography websites offer such explicitly sexual content that viewers might stay on one page so long that it could distort the positivity. Yet, no empirical work has investigated this matter and little has focused on visit behavior to adult websites. Based on 473,840 visit sessions to pornography websites targeting both (1) the public and (2) the homosexual viewers, the 0.771 correlation coefficient between the pageview and the visit duration is statistically significant. It confirms that these two variables are positively related in the online pornography context. We also found that the viewer’s sexual orientation may have a moderating effect on the relationship between them. , "being a man" involves actively positioning one's self in relation to culturally dominant images of masculinity. Yet, crucially, these images change depending on the social and historical context. In this paper, we examine contemporary discourses of masculinity as they are represented in the British press. In particular, we focus on the ways in which masculine representations are both racialized and classed, and how they are positioned in relation to one another within a broader ideological field of gender and power. Analyses are based on a quantitative and qualitative analysis of a large corpus (44.1 million words) of newspaper articles on masculinity that appeared in the UK between 2003 and 2011. Our findings underscore the importance of adopting an intersectional approach to the study of language and masculinity, and provide support for recent critical re-evaluations of the foundational concept of hegemonic masculinity.

El artículo identifica la poca atención dada a la infancia en los estudios urbanos y, desde ahí, ofrece una aproximación antropológica a la percepción que los niños tienen de los parques y su espacio público. Con un enfoque cualitativo y adoptando una metodología basada en la etnografía, se logra identificar esa percepción infantil. Se privilegian los resultados emergentes de la realidad vivida en los parques, complementando el análisis con la perspectiva y las experiencias de los propios niños en tales espacios públicos, así como la dinámica observada a través del trabajo de campo. La investigación se realizó en tres parques públicos ubicados en el Centro Histórico de la ciudad de Toluca, capital del Estado de México. Los resultados revelan sensaciones de inseguridad, un deseo de convivencia armoniosa con la naturaleza y un entorno que fomente el juego en grupo y la interacción social. La no correspondencia entra la expectativa de los infantes y las características de los parques, robustece la idea de que crear entornos seguros, accesibles y bien equipados no sólo mejoraría la experiencia de los niños en los parques y el espacio público, sino que fortalecería el tejido social y la convivencia en las ciudades.

Literature is not likely to be familiar and thus calls for some preliminary explanation. Designed as a one-semester seminar for a mixed group of advanced undergraduate and graduate (MA, MFA, and PHD) students in English, the course provides a provisional framework of thematically coherent units while leaving open the possibilities for coming to terms with-defining, refining, revising-what this broad conceptualization might mean for the study of literature and literary and cultural history spanning from the eighteenth century through to the present day. The context for our primary readings seeks to draw attention both to literature and life, to cultural politics as well as aesthetics, both for the writers we encounter and for us as readers. Focusing on the eighteenth century while moving forward to more contemporary texts and contexts encourages students to make unexpected connections: to recognize familiar dynamics in an earlier historical period, one that initially seems quite foreign, and to discover surprising continuities as well, elements of the past that persist in the present. My aim is to ensure that the term "polyamorous" is elastic enough to provide freedom to imagine new ways to read, while grounding it with some very specific material reading practices and existing critical frameworks. To begin, though, we might describe this body of texts briefly as a category of literary works (broadly defined, including film and televisual media) that attempt both to imagine and to accommodate multiple erotic and affective relations between individuals-polyamorous, rather than simply polygamous. At their most interesting, such works represent these nonmonogamous bonds of attachment both in and between characters while exploring the broader implications of such forms of attachment on the world around them. This essay explores the intersection of power, sex, and perversion in contemporary televised political narratives, focusing on Oswald Mosley in Peaky Blinders (2013-2022) and Frank and Claire Underwood in House of Cards (2013-2018). Drawing on Freudian and Lacanian psychoanalysis, as well as theoretical frameworks from Foucault, Butler, Bataille, and Žižek, the analysis conceptualizes power as a libidinal economy wherein political authority, eroticism, and perverse desire converge. Mosley exemplifies the authoritarian pervert, deriving jouissance from domination and seduction, whereas the Underwoods manifest a narcissistic, dyadic perversion, erotically invested in mutual political mastery. The essay further examines how queerness and gender function within these perverse economies, highlighting the fluidity of roles and the destabilization of normative sexual hierarchies. Ultimately, both cases illustrate the structural consequences of the perverse pursuit of omnipotence, wherein power becomes erotically charged, desire instrumentalized, and the death drive enacted upon the self and the sociopolitical Other.

This study has sought to shed light on the dearth of research on sex education in Bangladesh bringing forward young men’s experiences, views, narratives, recollections, and perceptions around sex education. Using social constructionism and poststructuralism, this study addresses the research questions: How did Bangladeshi young men receive sex education during adolescence? How did they interpret their experiences? How did their narratives reproduce and/or disrupt dominant discourses related to sex education, including discourses around sexuality, teenagerhood, masculinity, and manhood? Based on the qualitative data collected from nine in-depth Skype interviews with young men in Bangladesh, nine themes emerged. These themes illustrate how participants received sex education with the help of peers, pornography, the Internet, media, parents, schools, and religion. This paper presents a practice-led validation of a functional screenwriting framework derived from an analytical study of the typical VivaMax film. VivaMax (aka VMX) is the Philippines’ leading producer of softcore erotic cinema. My earlier VMX Study analyzed fourteen films and proposed a Screenwriting Framework and Female Sexual Agency Rubric grounded in recognizable patterns of theme, narrative structure, sexual behaviors, and representations of female sexual agency. In this paper, I use a practice-led research approach to evaluate a speculative screenplay originally written for submission to the VMX Film Festival against that Framework. Because the screenplay was completed before the framework was finalized, it functions unintentionally as a control text for validation. Results reveal the screenplay organically aligns to the earlier study on narrative structuring and pacing, sexual behaviors, and character development trajectories. The screenplay features a female lead who exhibits high female sexual agency on the aspects of initiation, consent, choice, and narrative consequence. These results suggest that the Framework and Rubric can effectively guide the development of softcore cinematic works that are mindful and character-driven while retaining the eroticism expected of the genre. This study contributes to the discourse of Philippine Cinema in how it reinforces the potential of softcore cinema and erotica as a platform for scholarship and inquiry on the interrelated concepts of authorship, agency, and representation, among others. Despite its limitations, this validation exercise reveals the clear potential of the Framework and Rubrics’ replicability in future studies and exercises in erotic screenplay development.

El capítulo presenta una revisión sistemática reciente (2020 2025) sobre los efectos del consumo de pornografía en adolescentes de 13 a 18 años, a partir de 42 estudios de alta calidad metodológica. Se analizan tres ámbitos: imaginario sexual y modelos de conducta, salud sexual y conducta sexual y social. Se constata un inicio de exposición antes de los 13 años, con normalización del consumo en torno a esa edad, mayoritariamente de pornografía “hardcore” y en contextos poco supervisados. El consumo se motiva por curiosidad, búsqueda de aprendizaje sexual, masturbación y regulación emocional, en ausencia de una educación afectivo sexual adecuada. Se observan diferencias de género, con mayor consumo y uso problemático en varones, reforzando estereotipos y roles desiguales. Los resultados muestran impactos en la autoimagen corporal, la autoestima, la salud sexual (inicio sexual temprano, menor uso de preservativo, más parejas y conductas de riesgo) y la aparición de consumo problemático y posible adicción. También se describen asociaciones con menor empatía, dificultades de intimidad, mayor aceptación de la violencia sexual y riesgos de agresión y victimización, especialmente cuando se combina con consumo de alcohol. El texto concluye reclamando políticas educativas y de prevención específicas, así como más investigación sobre intervenciones eficaces en adolescencia.

Paul Preciado, atualmente, é um grande nome quando se fala de Estudos de Gênero e Sexualidade. Assim sendo, o lançamento dessa edição do livro Pornotopia se mostra algo de valor para os que estudam tal tipo de temática. Para nós, o curioso aqui é como Preciado decidiu dar enfoque para a questão da arquitetura e como isso dialoga com a sexualidade, biopolítica etc. Quando se fala de Playboy, obviamente, a primeira coisa que se pensa não é na arquitetura, afinal, o que, quase, sempre chama mais atenção são as mulheres peladas. Resumo: O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar a ambivalência em relação aos estereótipos relacionados à
população amarela e seus descendentes no Brasil, que se apresentam ora como negativos ora como “positivos”, por meio da constituição histórica dos conceitos “Perigo Amarelo”, “Massa Amorfa” e “Minoria Modelo”. A pesquisa é um ensaio teórico que articula metodologicamente os marcadores sociais da diferença e a perspectiva sócio-histórica, com vistas a demonstrar o percurso da constituição do racismo antiasiático do século XIX ao XXI, por meio da instauração de um imaginário branco acerca do asiático no Brasil. Concluiu-se que tais estereótipos se evidenciam de diferentes formas a depender do contexto social, político e econômico em questão, e que podem causar sofrimentos para a população amarela, negritando, por fim, a importância de que esta possa constituir uma narrativa crítica a partir de suas próprias histórias.

ABSTRACT: This paper aims to analyze the ambivalence regarding stereotypes related to the Asian population and their descendants in Brazil, which are sometimes presented as negative and sometimes as “positive”, through the historical constitution of the concepts “Yellow Peril,” “Amorphous Mass,” and “Model Minority.” This research is a theoretical essay that methodologically articulates the social markers of difference and the socio-historical perspective, aiming to demonstrate the development of anti-Asian racism from the 19th to the 21st century, through the establishment of a white imaginary about Asians in Brazil. It was concluded that such stereotypes manifest themselves in different ways depending on the social, political, and economic context in question, and that they can cause suffering for the Asian population, highlighting, finally, the importance of them being able to construct a critical narrative based on their own histories.

El presente artículo propone un espacio crítico en el que pensar las imágenes pornográficas desde la perspectiva de sus trabajadorxs. La interrogación se plantea como una pregunta abierta, abordada desde una polifonía de voces de diversas investigadoras, y se estructura bajo la forma de un montaje indisciplinado con diversos diálogos, imágenes y gestos en torno a los estatutos y modos de producción de los imaginarios pornográficos, al tiempo que se interroga cómo estasformas de representación abren un cuestionamiento por la propia noción de trabajo cuando esta se encuentra con las prácticas sexuales.

Os registros de representações materializadas dos órgãos genitais e das relações sexuais entre homens e mulheres podem ser encontrados em sociedades variadas e situadas em diversos tempos históricos. No presente artigo, apresentamos a conexão entre representações materializadas dos órgãos genitais e substâncias comestíveis em um contexto urbano contemporâneo a partir da loja La Putaria, instalada em 2021 em Lisboa e inaugurada em 2022 em Belo Horizonte, com abertura posterior de filiais no Rio de Janeiro, em Roma e São Paulo. As filiais mineira e carioca fecharam suas portas em 2024. As experiências de consumo dos doces na loja de Belo Horizonte foram amplamente publicizadas nas redes sociais dos frequentadores, indicando que o ato de presença tanto nas filas quanto no interior da loja, e a devoração de piroffles e xoxoffles, são elementos para a produção de narrativas expressivas do self. As análises estão apoiadas em visitas à loja, conversas com consumidores, proprietária e funcionários em 2022 e 2023. Conclui-se que o comércio de alimentos erotizados, realizado pela loja, aciona moralidades urbanas e oferece um cenário para expressões identitárias apoiadas na sexualidade e nas formas de enunciação das escolhas de consumo, englobadas pelo ambiente de incertezas e instabilidades que marca as paisagens das cidades contemporâneas.

Pese a que el estado de Tlaxcala es el más pequeño de México, se ha ganado la reputación
de ser centro de la trata de mujeres en el país. El objetivo de la investigación consistió
en mostrar como la mayoría de los pobladores de Tenancingo Tlaxcala han configurado
lo que desde la psicología comunitaria se denomina “sentido de comunidad” a través
de la asimilación de dicho ilícito como parte de su realidad y que por omisión o por
miedo, algunas minorías no han denunciado con tal de no ver afectados sus intereses
como miembros de la comunidad. A través del enfoque cualitativo y por medio de la
observación directa y las entrevistas abiertas se documentan los mecanismos que permiten
la formación y enseñanza del padrotismo en la localidad en los que los principios de la
masculinidad patriarcal y las relaciones familiares son un claro componente estructural
de la actividad. Finalmente, y bajo el amparo del paradigma sociocrítico y la perspectiva
de género feminista se concluye que la mayoría de los habitantes de esta región semi
rural han configurado un sentido de comunidad en torno a la trata y explotación sexual
de mujeres como parte de su realidad.

Knowledge and Practice of sex workers of nightclubs towards HIV/AIDS prevention: case of Kadutu Health Zone (Bukavu, South-Kivu) HIV/AIDS prevention among sex workers still a great challenge to address. The aim of our study is to contribute to the amelioration of HIV/AIDS prevention among nightclubs sex workers in Bukavu. This study is transversal descriptive. 73 sex workers underwent an interview (questionnaire) from July 8 th 2017 to August 22 nd 2017. The data were treated by Epi Info 3.5.1 software. All sex workers had already heard about HIV/AIDS, 31.5% has said that informal sources were their information's source of HIV/AIDS prevention. They all know at least one way of transmission, but only the sexual one is known by the majority. They all know at least one way to prevent HIV, but only condoms are most known by the majority (82%). The 95.9% agrees that this profession exposes to a risk of HIV infection. 97.3 % said that the use of condoms reduces the risk of HIV infection. 21, 9 % don't use condoms at each. In the following article I consider a catalog of audio description porn videos available on the online adult entertainment platform Pornhub. Attending to the visual and aural elements of the original source video and their simultaneous narration in the audio descriptive tracks, I argue that this transcription offers us, the viewer/auditor, an ekphrastic encounter with the pornographic moving image mediated by the acousmatic gendered voice of the audio describer. While academic scholarship on pornography informs my discussion of the source videos, theories of ekphrasis ranging from its usage in Ancient Greek rhetoric, to its formulation in twentieth-century anglophone literary theory, and finally to its application in digital visual culture, will underpin my analysis of the audio description. Through ekphrasis I ultimately distinguish the audio description of pornography as a creative genre in its own right, as well as offer an extensive and interdisciplinary approach that extends beyond the recursive or self-reflexive lens of porn studies scholarship, and newly positions hardcore film pornography within a larger body of academic inquiry in conversation with epic poetry and art history.
