The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of trust and job satisfaction on teachers’ Organizational Citizenship Behavior in Junior High School of Private Districts Tangerang. The research used survey method applied in testing hypothesis. Technique of data collecting used questionnaire. There were 273 teachers used as samples and selected by simple random sampling. For data analysis Structural Equation Model (SEM) was used to get more detailed results related to trust, job satisfaction and Organizational Citizenship Behavior variables. The result of the research indicated that 1) there was a direct positive effect of trust to teachers’ Organizational Citizenship Behavior; 2) there was a direct positive effect of job satisfaction to teachers’ Organizational Citizenship Behavior; and 3) there was a direct positive effect of trust to job satisfaction.

Objetivo: identificar las no conformidades relativas al trabajo de la enfermería en hospitales de Minas Gerais (Brasil). Método: investigación cuantitativa, de carácter descriptivo. Los datos se recolectaron de los informes de Diagnóstico Organizacional realizados por el Sistema Brasileño de Acreditación de 37 hospitales de los 45 evaluados en 2009 (muestra de 82,22%). This present study analyses a stringent and current problem of the economy which resides from the measurements of the proportion of production which lead to the growth of the amount of waste resulted from production and influence its efficiency. The first part of the study tries to point out the existing connection between the design of the fault research and the documentation of the fault research. The research of these two concepts underlines some similarities between the design and the documentation of fault research starting from the agents involved in these processes, from the need of including all the elements of the enterprise in these processes, from the way of looking at documentation as the most active part of the research process of the faults which has to be continuously revised and modified along time.After analysing the defining elements of the two concept one reaches to the conclusion that in order to study thoroughly the documentation of the fault research one also needs to point out the processes which are characteristic for this process and which are not found in the design of fault research. Starting from this statement, the field of the concept of fault research documentation is mentioned and analysed thoroughly with the help of some new concepts as: the needs and the function of the process, possible faults, possible effects of the fault, severity(S), classification (CLAS), possible fault mechanisms and causes, fault production (P(), current control process, identification(I), etc. The analysis of these new concepts and the enlargement of some of their elements give the possibility to know in detail and to document upon the fault research. This idea is sustained with the help of some tables which classify the severity of the effects resulted from the fault research, the classification of the possible fault rates for the fault research process, the classification of the probability of identifying the control process, etc. According to the facts presented in the three tables there are some specific elements for the documentation of the fault research. At the same time, this study aims to point out the multiple economic and social significations of the production fault and the possibilities to reduce them in a certain period of time. These new sides of the documentation in fault research increase the practical value of the present study and prove at the same time that the methodology used in fault research may also be used for other problems which are outside the field of quality management.

Background: Vascular access devices (VADs) are ubiquitous in U.S. hospitals but carry risks of infection and thrombosis. U.S. regulations (FDA's 21 CFR 820 and the new QMSR/ISO 13485 framework) mandate stringent design controls, yet their impact on clinical outcomes is unclear. Objective: To synthesize regulatory, engineering, and clinical evidence on VAD design and performance in the U.S. context and identify factors that enable or hinder safety-driven innovation. Methods: A narrative review of recent U.S.-focused literature was conducted, including FDA and CDC guidelines, regulatory notices, systematic reviews, randomized controlled trials, observational cohort studies, and quality improvement studies. Sources of literature included PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar, and FDA/CDC publications from January 2010 to December 2025, with emphasis on evidence quality and applicability to U.S. practice. Key findings from the user's manuscript were integrated and compared with this evidence. Results: The U.S. VAD regulatory framework (21 CFR 820, QMSR) incorporates international standards like ISO 13485, emphasizing design controls and risk management. However, high-quality studies do not consistently show that compliance with these processes alone reduces complications. In contrast, implementation of evidence-based insertion/maintenance bundles dramatically reduces central line-associated bloodstream infection (CLABSI) rates. Human factor gaps remain; FDA guidance stresses user-centered design to prevent use errors. Overall, evidence suggests that institutional practices (training, sterile technique, line care) often outweigh marginal design changes. Conclusions: Current U.S. device regulations provide a necessary framework but are insufficient by themselves to ensure safer VAD outcomes. We infer that integrating human-factors engineering, real-world outcome monitoring, and rigorous training is essential. Regulatory evolution (e.g., the QMSR's 2026 implementation) should tie approval and post-market surveillance to clinical performance.

This case demonstrates how a Quality Improvement (QI) initiative systematically improved the delivery of maternal and newborn health services at a large number of health-care facilities in Mozambique, with limited external assistance (e.g., external supervision or technical assistance after the initial 6 months), despite facing the challenges common to many low-income settings. Background Appropriately documented medical records enhance coordination, patient outcomes and clinical research. Objective The aim of this project was to improve Wallaga University Referral Hospital's (WURH) medical record completeness rate from 53% to 80% from 1 January 2023 to 31 August 2023. Methods A hospital-based interventional study was conducted at WURH. The Plan-Do-Study-Act cycle was used to test change ideas. A fishbone diagram and a driver diagram were used to identify root causes and address them. Key interventions consisted of supportive supervision, developing and distributing standardised formats, orientation for staff, establishing a chart audit team and assigning data owners. Result On the completion of the project, the overall implementation of inpatient medical record completeness increased from 53% to 82%. This improvement varies from department-to-department. It increased from 51% to 79%, 53% to 79%, 46% to 81% and 64% to 91% in the departments of internal medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology and surgery, respectively. The project brought improvements in the completeness of physician notes (84% to 100%), physician order sheet (54% to 84%), nursing care plan (26% to 69%), admission sheet (76% to 98%), discharge summary (94% to 98%), progress note (38% to 91%), medication administration (80% to 100%), appropriate attachment of documents (78% to 93%) and documentation of vital signs (50% to 100%). The rate of medical record completeness was significantly improved in the study area. This was achieved through the application of multidimensional change ideas related to health professionals, supplies, health management information systems and leadership. However, in some of the parameters, the national targets were not met. Therefore, we recommend providing regular technical updates, conducting frequent chart audits and providing supportive supervision for the enhancement of medical record completeness. It is also advisable for the hospital management to work on its sustainability.

Objective This quality improvement project is aimed to increase pain free hospital implementation from 21.7 to 80% at Wallaga University Referral Hospital (WURH) from January 1, 2023 to June 30, 2023. Hospital based interventional study was conducted at WURH. The Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycle was used to test change ideas. A fishbone diagram and a driver diagram were used to identify root causes and address them. Major interventions included training of health professionals, initiation of pain as fifth vital sign, policy and protocol development, and conducting regular supportive supervision. Results Upon completion of the project, overall pain-free hospital implementation increased from baseline 21.7-88.7%. Implementation of pain as 5th the vital sign was increased from 15.4 to 92.3%. Regular audits of pain assessment and management increased from 27.3 to 81.8%. Two standardized treatment protocols or chronic and acute pains were developed from baseline zero. A focal person for Pain-free hospital implementation was assigned. More than 85% of healthcare providers were trained in pain assessment and management. Compliance with pain-free hospital implementations was significantly improved in the study area. This was achieved through the application of multidimensional change ideas related to health professionals, standardized guidelines and protocols, supplies, and leadership. Therefore, we recommend providing regular technical updates & conducting a frequent clinical audit on pain management.

Process modeling is explored as an approach for prospectively managing the quality of a telemedicine/telehealth service. This kind of prospective quality management is more appropriate for dynamic health care environments compared to traditional quality assurance programs. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan antara motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik serta menganalisis efektivitas keduanya dalam perilaku organisasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan meninjau berbagai jurnal dan sumber ilmiah terkait motivasi dalam konteks dunia kerja. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa motivasi intrinsik lebih efektif untuk tugas yang bersifat kreatif dan kompleks karena mendorong kreativitas, inovasi, dan ketekunan jangka panjang. Sebaliknya, motivasi ekstrinsik lebih efektif untuk mencapai target jangka pendek dan tugas rutin yang terukur. The objectives of this research are to understand, explain and improve Madrasah based Management Program (Islamic Concept). The research used qualitative approach which used evaluation model of CIPP (Context, Input, Process and Outcome). It was conducted at Islamic High School Jonggat sub-district. Instruments used were observation and deep interview technique. The results were that some weaknesses of programs in the effort of increasing teacher’s human resources that were not mastering learning model media (coul not operate the laptop and in focus), increasing the facilities need and low cost. Recommendations; it is suggested to those who are in the stakeholders to pay attention to this issue. So, the implementation of the program could be done successfully later.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of organizational justice on the trust of Tangerang Regency private junior high school teachers. In the analysis will get more detailed results related to organizational justice variables with the indicators and trust with the indicators. This research used SEM (Structural Equition Model) method. Data collection technique used a questionnaire. The sample of this study involved 273 people through random proportional selection. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling in inferential statistics. The results of this study indicate that there was a direct effect of organizational justice on the confidence of Tangerang regency private junior high school teachers. The dominant indicators of organizational justice variables which contributed was neutrality at 18.26%, while the dominant trust variable which contributed was consistency at 23.71%.

Background: The objective was to redesign selection criteria for readmission cases to improve pick up rates of adverse events* for clinical reviews of inpatient medical records using a new methodology. *Adverse events: An unintended injury or complication resulting in increased length of hospital stay, temporary/permanent disability/death, caused by healthcare management. Level 1 AE's: Unpreventable events only for information of clinical departments. Level 2 AE's: Preventable/potentially preventable events reported to Heads of clinical departments. 1,2a Trigger tools: The use of "triggers", or clues, to identify adverse events (AEs) is an effective method for measuring the overall level of harm in a health care organization. 2b PDSA: An iterative four-step management method used for continuous improvement of processes. 3 Methods: Selected screening criteria were applied in a series of quality improvement cycles with further modification to eliminate unnecessary cases. A checklist to simplify screening was implemented and a staff satisfaction survey conducted to check process efficacy. Results: Modification of selection criteria continuously improved review quality and accounted for better time management by the team. The project resulted in a significant increase in the total AE pick up rate of 94.23% as compared to the baseline of 80%. The level 1 and 2 AE rates also increased to 92.31% and 1.92% from the baseline rates of 75% and 0.2%. There was also noted to be a significant decrease of 80.98% in review time taken. These findings support the fact that an effective screening process for readmission review is beneficial and worth implementing.

In order to survive on the market, enterprises have been forced to introduce appropriate mechanisms that would allow them to run their business without disruption. Among the many tools or strategies that have been tested by various types and types of enterprises, quality management systems play an important role. They make it possible to improve the efficiency of managing the company's assets, retain contractors or lead to an improvement in financial results. Through the use of appropriate quality management systems, there is an improvement in the areas of receivables from customers and inventories. Mistakes made in inventory management create unnecessary costs and sometimes even stop sales. In turn, improper management of receivables reduces the financial liquidity of the company. In the paper is presented a Six Sigma project, undertaken within company for production automotive parts, which deals with identification and reduction of production cost in the deburring process for gravity die-castings and improvement of quality level of produced parts. Design/methodology/approach: The objectives are achieved by application of Six Sigma approach to quality improvement project in automotive industry. The applied Six Sigma approach includes team works through several phases: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC). Findings: Systematic application of Six Sigma DMAIC tools and methodology within an automotive parts production results with several achievements such are reduction of tools expenses, cost of poor quality and labours expenses. It was shown that Six sigma is an effective way to find out where are the greatest process needs and which are the softest points of the process. Also, Six sigma provide measurable indicators and adequate data for analytical analysis. The concentrations of heavy metals (Fe, Zn, Cu and Pb) were analyzed in Catenella repens collected from three stations in Indian Sundarbans using AAS during 2014. The heavy metals from different anthropogenic sources accumulated in the thallus body of the selected seaweed species. The order of accumulation is Fe > Zn > Cu > Pb. A unique seasonal variation of accumulated heavy metals is also observed from our first order analysis.

Our goal was to develop a comprehensive performance tracking process for a large pediatric hospitalist division. We aimed to use established dimensions and theory of health care quality to identify measures relevant to common inpatient diagnoses, refl ective of current standards of clinical care, and applicable to individual physician performance. We also sought to implement a reproducible data collection strategy that minimizes manual data collection and measurement bias. Washington University Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine provides clinical care in 17 units within 3 different hospitals. Hospitalist services were grouped into 5 areas, and a task group was created of divisional leaders representing clinical services. The group was educated on the health care quality theory and tasked to search clinical practice standards and quality resources. The groups proposed a broad spectrum of performance questions that were screened for electronic data availability and modifi ed into measurable formulas. Eighty-seven performance questions were identifi ed and analyzed for their alignment with known clinical guidelines and value in measuring performance. Questions were distributed across quality domains, with most addressing safety. They refl ected structure, outcome, and, most commonly, process. Forty-seven questions were disease specifi c, and 79 questions refl ected individual physician performance; 52 questions had electronically available data. We describe a systematic approach to the development of performance indicators for a pediatric hospitalist division that can be used to measure performance on a division and physician level. We outline steps to develop a broad-spectrum quality tracking process to standardize clinical care and build invaluable resources for quality improvement research.

OBJECTIVES: Our goal was to develop a comprehensive performance tracking process for a large pediatric hospitalist division. We aimed to use established dimensions and theory of health care quality to identify measures relevant to common inpatient diagnoses, reflective of current standards of clinical care, and applicable to individual physician performance. We also sought to implement a reproducible data collection strategy that minimizes manual data collection and measurement bias. Xüsusilə təklif etdikləri təhsil keyfiyyəti, tədqiqat imkanları və tədris metodları kimi amillər universitetlər üçün əsas rəqabət üstünlüyünə çevrilib. Rəqabətin artması paralel olaraq ali təhsil müəssisələrində təhsilin keyfiyyətini artırmaq üçün müxtəlif metod və strategiyaların inkişaf etdirilməsinə səbəb olub. Azərbaycan ali təhsil müəssisələrində mövcud vəziyyət təhlil edildikdə, son illər ərzində ölkəmizdə təhsil sahəsində mühüm islahatların həyata keçirildiyi və beynəlxalq təhsil standartlarına inteqrasiya prosesinin sürətləndirildiyi müşahidə olunur. 1999-cu ildə qəbul edilən Bolonya Bəyannaməsi ölkəmizin təhsil sisteminin Avropa ali təhsil məkanına inteqrasiyasını sürətləndirmək məqsədilə mühüm addımlar atılmasına şərait yaradıb. 2005-ci ildə Azərbaycan Bolonya prosesi ilə bağlı öhdəliklər qəbul edərək təhsilin keyfiyyətinin artırılması, müasir kredit sistemlərinin tətbiqi və diplomların beynəlxalq səviyyədə tanınması məsələlərini öz üzərinə götürüb. Bu prosesin davamı olaraq 2008-ci ildə qəbul olunan dövlət proqramı və 2019-cu ildə Təhsildə Keyfiyyət Təminatı Agentliyinin (TKTA) yaradılması ilə Azərbaycan ali təhsilinin inkişafı və təhsil müəssisələrinin akkreditasiyası ilə bağlı əhəmiyyətli addımlar atılıb. Lakin ali təhsil müəssisələrində keyfiyyətin idarə edilməsi, daxili keyfiyyət təminatı, habelə özünütəhlil və davamlı təkmilləşmə mexanizmlərinin effektiv fəaliyyəti ilə bağlı hələ də bir sıra problemlər mövcuddur.

In recent years, structural and regulatory reforms in higher education have enabled universities to operate more independently and competitively within the education market. In this environment, universities have had to make greater efforts to promote themselves and enhance the sustainability of their activities. In particular, factors such as the quality of education offered, research opportunities, and teaching methods have become key competitive advantages for universities. The increase in competition has, in turn, led to the development of various methods and strategies aimed at improving the quality of education in higher education institutions. In response to these changes, higher education institutions have begun to implement more systematic and planned approaches in the fields of quality management and quality assurance. When analyzing the current situation in Azerbaijani higher education institutions, it is observed that significant reforms have been implemented in the education sector in recent decades, and the process of integration into international education standards has accelerated. The Bologna Declaration, adopted in 1999, created favorable conditions for accelerating the integration of Azerbaijan’s education system into the European Higher Education Area. In 2005, Azerbaijan undertook obligations related to the Bologna Process, committing to improving the quality of education, implementing modern credit systems, and ensuring the international recognition of diplomas. As a continuation of this process, significant steps were taken with the
adoption of a state program in 2008 and the establishment of the Education Quality Assurance Agency (TKTA) in 2019, which focuses on the development of higher education in Azerbaijan and the accreditation of educational institutions. However, significant challenges remain in relation to the effective functioning of quality management and internal quality assurance systems, as well as self-evaluation and continuous improvement mechanisms in higher education institutions.

This study examines the relationship between board attributes and financial performance of listed manufacturing firms in Nigeria, focusing particularly on how institutional ownership plays a moderating role. The board attributes examined include financial expertise, size, independence, and nationality. By analyzing panel data from 30 listed manufacturing firms over a decade, the study uses regression analysis to explore both direct and interaction effects. The findings reveal that board independence has a significant effect on financial performance, while board nationality demonstrates a positive and significant association. However, board financial expertise and board size do not exhibit significant direct effects. Regarding the moderating role, institutional ownership significantly strengthens the relationship between board independence and financial performance, suggesting a complementary governance effect. In contrast, institutional ownership appears to weaken the positive relationship between board nationality and performance, indicating a substitution effect. No significant moderating influence is found for board financial expertise and size. The study suggests that regulators and policymakers should promote greater involvement of institutional investors in the Nigerian capital market.

O presente artigo busca elucidar os fatores de manutenção e permanência de alunos em uma instituição de ensino superior privado brasileiro e correlaciona as motivações apresentadas pelo aluno no momento do trancamento da sua matrícula. Entende-se essa uma questão estratégica, de preocupação fundamental para os gestores dessas instituições tendo em vista a relevância da manutenção dos alunos matriculados e a redução dos índices de evasão. De acordo com o MEC para cada 100 alunos ingressantes nas IES apenas 46 se formam. Tal é a importância, que consta no Plano de Desenvolvimento de Educação (PNE) o objetivo explícito da redução da evasão e aumento da proporção dos alunos formados em relação aos que ingressam. Para investigar quais os fatores que mantém os alunos estudando ou o que os faz evadir foi realizado um estudo de caso, em uma instituição de ensino superior, na região metropolitana da cidade de São Paulo. A investigação, realizada em duas frentes de abordagem e na perspectiva do aluno traz informações sobre as principais motivações do aluno para o trancamento da matrícula, bem como os fatores de qualidade percebida pela instituição, que, supostamente, os mantém matriculados. O artigo ainda está embasado por uma revisão teórica baseada na intangibilidade dos serviços, especialmente focada na relação das estratégias de marketing com a prestação dos serviços educacionais. Os resultados indicam uma correlação entre os fatores de evasão e as estratégias utilizadas pelas instituições para manter seus alunos. Informações esclarecedoras, para gestores de instituições de ensino superior, que buscam rever ou fortalecer suas estratégias, com o foco na manutenção e permanência do aluno.

Operations management plays an increasingly important role in service industries by ensuring that organizational resources, processes, and people work together to deliver efficient and high-quality services. Unlike manufacturing industries that focus on producing physical goods, service industries operate in environments where outputs are intangible, customer interaction is direct, and services are often produced and consumed simultaneously. Il “Turismo Esperienziale” è oggi un termine ampiamente diffuso, ma non sempre utilizzato in modo corretto. Troppo spesso viene impiegato come semplice etichetta commerciale, applicata genericamente a offerte turistiche che, nella pratica, non possiedono le reali caratteristiche di un’autentica esperienza.
Diventa quindi fondamentale comprendere quali elementi distinguano una vera proposta esperienziale da una semplice attività turistica presentata come tale. Background: This is a study of 2 clinical feed forward systems (FFSs) situated in different contexts: in the United States, where the system was developed, and in Swedish clinical settings, where it was first adopted. Both systems were identified as clinically successful despite differing contexts, and the objective of this study is to understand what essential properties determined their success. Methods: In our search for essential properties of the FFS, we used acceptance, use, and utility as indicators in questionnaires and interviews of patients and providers. Properties were identified as essential if they enabled reinforcing loops favorable for patients, providers, or both at clinical encounters. Results: A total of 44 patients participated in each context, along with 13 providers from the United States and 6 providers from the Swedish clinics. In the patient questionnaire, a majority of patients rated their impression of the FFS as excellent to good (United States: 84%, Sweden: 96%, P < .001). Interviews with both patients and providers indicated that the FFS patient overview displaying structured data previous to the clinical encounter is favorable. These essential properties enabled patient involvement through engagement, education, and communication with the provider, who appreciated them as time-saving for managing data and as decision support. Discussion: Despite distinctly different contexts and locally adapted content, essential properties that induced successful patient participation and provider support were identified as universal in the FFSs. Thus, further spread of the FFS may be enabled to accomplish patient-centered care and improved clinical information and quality management.

Le contrôle qualité dans l’industrie pharmaceutique est une composante essentielle visant à garantir la conformité, la sécurité et l’efficacité des médicaments. Il intervient à toutes les étapes du processus de fabrication, depuis le contrôle des matières premières jusqu’au produit fini.
Ce travail présente les différentes étapes du contrôle qualité (en amont, en cours de fabrication et en aval), ainsi que les méthodes et techniques analytiques associées, telles que les analyses physico-chimiques, la chromatographie, la spectroscopie, les essais de dissolution et les analyses microbiologiques.
Il met également en évidence les enjeux majeurs du contrôle qualité, notamment sanitaires, économiques et réglementaires, ainsi que les défis auxquels il est confronté, tels que les contraintes de délais, l’évolution des normes et les risques d’erreurs.
Enfin, des perspectives d’amélioration sont proposées, basées sur l’innovation technologique, la digitalisation et l’optimisation des processus, afin de renforcer la performance du contrôle qualité dans l’industrie pharmaceutique.
