Objective: The present investigation aimed to examine the efficacy of emotion-focused therapy in relation to the perception of psychological security and its components in women affected by domestic violence.
Methods: The research employed a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test-post-test arrangement, incorporating a control group. The target population consisted of all women impacted by domestic violence who sought assistance from the forensic medicine department in the city of Kashmar during the first half of 2022. A total of 40 women experiencing domestic violence were selected as the study sample, employing an accessible sampling technique, and were randomly assigned to either the experimental or control group (20 participants in each group). The experimental group received emotion-focused therapy for a duration of 8 sessions, with each session lasting one hour, over a period of 4 weeks. Conversely, the control group did not receive any form of intervention. The research instrument employed was Maslow's (2004) questionnaire on the perception of psychological security, which was completed by the participants during the pre-test and post-test stages. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS-22 software and covariance analysis.
Results: The findings indicated that emotion-focused therapy has a significant impact on the perception of psychological security and its components in women affected by domestic violence.
Conclusions: Consequently, this therapeutic approach can be utilized to enhance the well-being of women experiencing domestic violence and thus have beneficial effects on their children' academic and emotional outcomes.

Objective: The aim of this study is to examine the efficacy of two therapeutic approaches, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and schema therapy in addressing promoting spiritualism and conflict resolution styles among employed women.
Methods: A semi-experimental pre-test and post-test design with a control group was employed. The study sample consisted of 45 women who were purposefully selected from employees of Iran Khodro Industrial Group companies in 2022. Participants were randomly assigned to one of three groups: control group (n=15), schema therapy group (n=15), and acceptance and commitment therapy group (n=15). Participants completed questionnaires assessing spiritualism and conflict resolution styles. The research hypotheses were analyzed using mixed design analysis of variance.
Results: The findings indicate that both acceptance and commitment therapy and schema therapy significantly impact spirituality and conflict resolution styles among employed women.
Conclusion: Based on the results, the utilization of acceptance and commitment therapy and schema therapy is recommended to enhance spirituality and improve conflict resolution styles among employed women.

In this study, changes in three conflict resolution styles in parent-adolescent relationships were investigated: positive problem solving, conflict engagement, and withdrawal. Questionnaires about these conflict resolution styles were completed by 314 early adolescents (M = 13.3 years; 50.6% girls) and both parents for four consecutive years. Adolescents' reported use of positive problem solving increased with mothers, but did not change with fathers. Fathers reported an increase of positive problem solving with adolescents, whereas mothers reported no change. Adolescents' use of conflict engagement was found to temporarily increase with mothers, but showed no change with fathers. Mothers and fathers reported a decrease in conflict engagement with adolescents. Adolescents' use of withdrawal with parents increased, although this increase was temporarily with mothers. Mothers reported no change in withdrawal, whereas fathers' use of withdrawal increased. Generally, we found that both adolescents and their parents changed in their use of conflict resolution from early to middle adolescence. These results show that conflict resolution in parent-adolescent relationships gradually change in favor of a more horizontal relationship.

Style Matters is a psychometrically-validated, culturally flexible conflict style inventory in the Mouton-Blake tradition.  It is widely used by professors, consultants, coaches, and conflict resolution trainers.

This descriptive research investigated the conflict resolution styles employed by a group of Maranao Muslims and a group of Christian students enrolled in Bukidnon State University, a state-owned university in Mindanao, Philippines. Knowing their styles of resolving conflict will help to understand their attitude better. The major source of data is a 25-item questionnaire adapted from an online source. The internal consistency of the instrument was tested for its reliability using Cronbach's alpha. The questionnaire was coupled with an interview to make the respondents explain and clarify their answers to some items. Using the model of Thomas & Kilman (1974), the overall results of the test show that the Maranao Muslim students in Bukidnon State University prefer Collaborating as a conflict resolution style while the Christian students employ Accommodating in handling conflicts. On the other hand, both groups of respondents were least engaged in Avoiding as a way of resolving conflict. The findings further revealed that there is no significant difference of the conflict resolution style of both groups of students. It means that conflict resolution styles of both groups of respondents are more or less, the same.

This descriptive research investigated the conflict resolution styles employed by a group of respondents from Bukidnon State University. The sources of conflict were categorized into family, friends and strangers. The respondents answered a 25-item questionnaire which determined their styles in managing interpersonal conflicts. An FGD tool was also used to enhance the findings. Results show that with family and friends, the respondents prefer collaborating style as a conflict resolution style while avoiding when the source of conflict is stranger.

This current study was conducted to investigate the role of conflict management, social support among university students (N= 200). Sample was collected 200 university students (Female =100, Male =100) age ranged 18-30 from four universities of federal area which are Quaid-E-Azam University, Bahria University, Air University And Nust In Pakista.. Purposive sampling technique was employed based on cross-section design. Two scales were used to asses’ social support and conflict management. The result revealed that social support was not significantly correlated with conflict management styles. The result revealed that females’ university students were more shown social support as compare to male students. Recommendations of the study are that both male and female can equally be benefitted by an intervention addressing conflict management however; female can get more benefit by addressing social support. This study would be helpful for pedagogical and clinical setting for university students. Non-significant results are discussed.
