Precision irrigation systems with Internet of Things capabilities provide a novel way to maximize water utilization through controlled application and real-time monitoring. The purpose of this study was to evaluate how well IoT-based precision irrigation may increase water productivity, look at how it affects the growth and production of banana crops, and assess the related farm-level and economic effects. A field study was carried out to compare farms that used conventional irrigation techniques with those that used IoT-enabled precision irrigation. We gathered and examined data on crop growth characteristics, yield, water usage, and economic indicators. The findings showed that IoT-enabled irrigation improved water productivity while drastically lowering water use. IoT-based technologies have been shown to increase farm productivity, yields, and crop growth. Economic analysis showed higher net agricultural income, better input-use efficiency, and reduced irrigation-related expenditures. The study comes to the conclusion that IoT-enabled precision irrigation is a practical and profitable way to enhance water use efficiency and farm results in Bihar's banana agriculture.

The practice of banana farming in Bihar is very problematic because of poor water management, wat... more The practice of banana farming in Bihar is very problematic because of poor water management, water demand, and environmental changes, which do not allow the production or sustainability of resources. The irrigation systems Sensor based irrigation systems provide a technology solution by applying water to the soil according to the real-time soil moisture and crop needs, which may enhance water use efficiency (WUE) and crop performance. This paper assesses adoption and system level consequences of using sensors in irrigation in banana farms with on-field comparison between the traditional and sensorregulated irrigation methods. The important parameters that were evaluated were water usage, contribution to yield and other parameters that affect the overall performance like moisture management on the soil, crops development, and workforce and energy consumption. Findings indicated sensor based irrigation used less water and added up to more yield and operational efficiency. The deficit of the water usage and the enhancement of the moisture regulation in the soil were described as the main factors of the better performance. The results reveal that sensor-based irrigation is a practical approach to sustainable and resource-efficient banana farming in Bihar and that the approach can be further encouraged by policy support, training of farmers and providing financial incentives.

The execution of transactions are easier, efficient, timely, correctly and user friendly. There are wide variety of associated threats and vulnerability with it. These threats may be internal or external. One of the biggest and high cost threats is ‘Fraud’. Fraudulent activities have ability that can compromise integrity of organization and at the same time may cripple organizations bottom-line. As the volume of data increases, the possible and potential cause of attacks and frauds increases simultaneously or subsequently. It will not be easier to find and point out the fraudulent activities and risks at the time of its occurrence. The fraudulent activities are not just simple task and can’t be traced out by using simple methodologies and regressive or explanatory methods. Everyday a new threat comes in picture, so there is urgent need to take proactive measures to control it. Instead of summarize and visualize the threat, one should become more vigilant, active, sensitive and predictive to prevent the potential fraud before it takes place. Predictive Analytics is a better approach to deal with it.

However, water pollution and scarcity are major challenges in many parts of the world, especially in developing countries like India. According to a report by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Bihar is one of the states with the highest number of polluted rivers stretches, affecting the quality of groundwater and surface water sources. Therefore, there is a need for an efficient and reliable system to monitor and manage water quality in Bihar. One of the emerging technologies that can address this need is the Internet of Things (IoT), which refers to the network of physical devices, sensors, and actuators that can collect, process, and communicate data over the internet. IoT can enable real-time and remote monitoring of water quality parameters, such as pH, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, temperature, and conductivity, using smart sensors that are deployed in water sources or distribution networks. These sensors can transmit the data to a cloud platform, where it can be stored, analyzed, and visualized using various tools and techniques. Cloud computing can provide scalable, cost-effective, and secure services for data processing and storage, as well as enable access to the data from anywhere and anytime.
