Meet Alex Huang, Senior Field Application Engineer, SolaX Power Australia. Since April 2021, Alex has been the person installers call on for everything from maintaining, repairing and replacing inverters and batteries, to on-site commissioning and complex fault-finding on commercial and industrial builds. His job is solving the technical problem in front of him, whether that's on-site, over the phone, or by email, and making sure the fix holds. In that time, Alex has already attended or serviced 2,000+ sites. Beyond the numbers: Alex has led technical support across 10+ C&I projects with Gold Coast Council, spanning public libraries, leisure centres and parks, across both string inverter and battery storage systems. He also provided on-site technical guidance for a 270kW hybrid inverter system with 230kWh of battery storage for Mount Isa Council, working alongside the local installation team through testing and commissioning. What keeps Alex motivated: "I love helping people solve difficult technical problems. Being able to provide effective solutions and seeing customers and installers leave with confidence motivates me to keep providing hands-on, local support.” Alex is also stepping into a new role this year as an instructor in SolaX's installer training program, running sessions in Brisbane and Sydney to help installers and electricians build a deeper understanding of SolaX products and best practice installation. Some heroes don’t wear capes — they care for injured wildlife, day after day, with extraordinary compassion and determination. 🐨 For more than 40 years, Dr Ralph and the dedicated team at Southern Cross Wildlife Hospital have been rescuing and treating Australian wildlife, relying on donations, volunteers and their own unwavering commitment — without government funding. Power interruptions had even occurred during surgery, forcing the team to continue working by phone light. We believed they deserved better. We are incredibly proud that SolaX technology can play a small part in supporting these Australian heroes and helping injured wildlife receive treatment in a safe, warm and reliable environment.
