In today’s water and wastewater projects, the need for dependable, energy-efficient equipment has never been more pressing. Electric motors are a key part of this equation, powering pumps, blowers, compressors, and other essential equipment to keep water and wastewater infrastructure operating efficiently. WEG has developed an extensive range of low and high voltage motors to meet the challenges faced by such industries. We sat down with WEG national product manager – industrial motors Sean Sill to learn more: https://lnkd.in/gbGJkz5U Jason Koey #electricmotors #pumpsystems #wastewater

The Queensland Government is spending $545 million to overhaul the Lake Macdonald and North Pine dams in the state's south-east. This will take Lake Macdonald's capacity from 39 per cent to 100 per cent to deliver an extra 4891 megalitres, while the capacity of North Pine dam will increase from 54 per cent to 100 per cent to deliver an additional 99,404 megalitres. A further $10 million will be spent on investigating a new dam in the fast-growing region. #southeastQueensland #damupgrades #waterinfrastructure

The price crunch is real, with industries not only facing rising electricity prices, but also surging costs for fuel and imported materials. For pumping applications, where systems are often operating 18–24 hours per day, the need for innovation and optimisation grows by the hour – the success of an operation hinges on it. Luckily, there are industry proponents pioneering new ways of operating. Graco is one of those, having developed its QUANTM electric diaphragm pump that delivers energy efficiencies of 85 per cent. One Graco beneficiary has been line-marking paint manufacturer CrystaLite, Inc., which, through the help of GO Industrial, has turned to the QUANTM range to help unlock greater energy efficiencies. In fact, Crystalite is set to generate $22,000 per year of power savings across its four-pump fleet. We sat down with GO Industrial head of brand Jacob Morgan to learn more about this partnership: https://lnkd.in/gZwsWHwR #electricdiaphragmpump #pumpsystems #linemarking
