Founded 2003 in Sweden, Oxeon has quickly established itself as the market leader in Spread Tow Thin Ply Reinforcements. Use of these spread tow carbon reinforcements increases the mechanical performance of composite material products and reduces the weight. Utilization of Oxeon’s TeXtreme® Spread Tow Fabrics and TeXtreme® Spread Tow Tapes by manufacturers of advanced aerospace, automotive, industrial and sports products in applications that have critical material performance requirements has affirmed the significance of Oxeon’s ultra light materials. Oxeon aims to become the leading supplier of high performance carbon reinforcements for the advanced composite industry. Oxeon’s TeXtreme® Spread Tow Fabrics and Spread Tow Tapes are tailor-made Spread Tow Reinforcements optimized to suit specific demands. TeXtreme® is available in a wide variety of configurations. TeXtreme® Spread Tow Fabric is manufactured using TeXtreme® Spread Tow Tapes and its construction can be optimized by interlacing the dry UD tapes in different angles +α/-β and through combination of different fiber types and materials. Through collaboration with cooperating partners, TeXtreme® can be delivered as a thermoset prepreg.
