Three weeks ago today, I had the incredible honour of being called to the bar of Newfoundland and Labrador. Reaching this milestone has been a long, but rewarding journey. From studying for and writing the LSAT, to moving to Ontario for three years of law school, and completing my articling year, every step of the way was in pursuit of this moment, and I am so grateful to have achieved it. I would be remised if I didn’t extend my deepest thanks to my family, friends, classmates, and colleagues who supported, mentored, and encouraged me throughout this time. Your guidance and unwavering belief in me has made all the difference. I am also excited to share that I will be continuing my practice with Curtis Dawe Lawyers as an Associate lawyer. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the very best team in this next stage of my career. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with congratuations and words of encouragement. I am excited for this next chapter!

What a night! We had a full house for our Lawyers-Only Trivia Night last week and it did not disappoint! From friendly competition to plenty of laughs (and maybe a few debates over answers), it was a fantastic evening of networking and fun.
