Here's something I hear consistently from people with disabilities and the professionals who support them: any anxiety around attending an event or travelling has little to do with the visit itself. It's about not knowing what they're walking into. Which entrance has step-free access? How far is the gate from security? Is there a lift, or only escalators? Most venues answer these questions with a PDF floor plan, or they don't answer them at all. That's why I'm excited about what we've built at Mappedin with RealView. It's 360-degree indoor imagery; think Google Street View, but for inside a building. Visitors can preview a venue, spot landmarks, and orient themselves before they ever leave home. For a first-time visitor, someone with anxiety about unfamiliar places, or anyone who prefers to plan ahead, that preview can make all the difference. It turns an unfamiliar environment into one that’s already a little familiar An Australian airport recently told me that the most visited part of their entire website is the indoor map. That wasn’t a surprise. People want to pre-plan. They want to know what to expect before they arrive. RealView helps visitors arrive with confidence before they even step through the door. • An unusually quiet airport check-in hall with clear views of the counters, kiosks and surrounding space. It's a rare airport moment where you can actually see the building rather than the queue.
  • Your VMS, PSIM, and patrol platforms all work. But can they tell an operator which floor, which corridor, or which camera is actually covering an incident right now? 🔐 Just released! 🚨 Our new guide gives #PhysicalSecurity teams a concrete framework for evaluating the spatial layer your stack is missing. 📩 Grab your copy: https://hubs.li/Q04r7Hck0 #SecurityTechnology #SpatialIntelligence #FacilityIntelligence #BuildingSecurity

I spent the early part of last week in Seattle at Mappedin's MVX – what an experience. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to share the stage with two leaders of Miami International Airport's digital transformation – Maurice Jenkins, A.A.E., IAP, Chief Innovation Officer and Johnathan Lewis, Division Director of Innovation. They joined me to talk about something every airport innovation team wrestles with: how do you turn operational complexity into something passengers actually feel as an advantage, not a burden? MIA didn't try to hide the complexity of a major hub. They built wayfinding and tech that works with it – connecting flight ops, terminal changes, and passenger guidance so the experience stays smooth even when the airport underneath it is anything but simple. That only works when innovation, ops, and IT teams are pulling in the same direction, which is precisely the kind of coordination Maurice and Johnathan have built at MIA. The room picked up on it immediately. Some of the best questions came from venue operators outside aviation (retail, sports, healthcare) who are solving the same complexity-at-scale problem in their own spaces. What stuck with me most was watching operators from completely different industries compare notes and realize they're all fighting the same fight: helping people move through complex spaces without ever feeling the complexity. That's the whole idea behind where we're taking our platform — one that holds up under real-world complexity, so the teams running these spaces can focus on the experience, not the plumbing. Thank you to Maurice and Johnathan for sharing MIA's story, and to everyone who made MVX Seattle feel like a room full of people solving the same problem from different angles.

This week I was at Mappedin Venue Exchange at Lumen Field, spending time with the operators who run venues every day, not the vendors selling to them. Three organizations stood out. Simon Property Group is treating visitor data as core infrastructure, not a marketing add-on. When the largest mall operator in the U.S. moves, the rest of the market usually follows. Miami International Airport is proving that visitor intelligence is no longer just a retail play. Airports, malls and stadiums are starting to solve the same operational challenges with the same technology. And Lumen Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks, is a great reminder that wayfinding only matters if it works under pressure, when tens of thousands of people need to find the right place in minutes. My biggest takeaway is that mapping, wayfinding and visitor intelligence are no longer separate investments. They are becoming a single intelligence layer that helps operators make better decisions, improve the visitor experience and run more efficient venues. At Eleva AI, that's exactly where we see the opportunity: turning anonymous visitor traffic into actionable insights for the teams managing the asset. Who else is pushing the industry forward? I'd love to hear who you'd add to the list. #MVX2026 #RetailAI #VenueTech #PropTech

Kicking off MVX in Seattle, USA Mappedin 👀 A close conversation between the VP of Airports of Mappedin, Yuval Kossovsky and the VP of Innovation at Miami International Airport (two people genuinely shaping how one of the busiest airports in the US thinks about its passengers) Venue leaders from all over the world, in one place. Understanding your passengers and visitors isn't a "nice to have". It's the whole game for leasing, security & avoid friction. AI agents are becoming the new layer on top of the venue that turns that data into something people actually feel. Grateful to be building relationships with people this good. More to come this week. #MVX #Airports #AIagents #VisitorExperience #Mappedin

  • Let visitors explore your venue — before they even enter. Introducing Mappedin RealView: https://lnkd.in/eDfbPcRh

In all the years I’ve spent scouring sports news sites about stadium construction projects, I started to notice a trend. Pretty much every stadium announcement I read talks about the: --> Roof --> Video boards --> Wi-Fi speeds Yet almost none of them talk about how a fan is supposed to plan their visit before they ever show up. I saw this exact gap close in #CRE years ago. Virtual walkthroughs and pre-leasing tours became standard practice. Not because they were flashy, but because buyers and tenants wanted certainty before they committed. Nobody wanted to sign a lease and hope the space matched what they imagined. Stadiums and arenas are catching up to that same expectation: → A fan buying tickets wants to know what their sightline looks like → A concertgoer wants to see the room, the stage angle, the distance, before they spend hundreds of dollars on a ticket → Everyone wants fewer of these conversations on game day: "I didn't realize my seats were behind a support column." This is the gap Mappedin RealView is built to close – giving fans a real view of their specific seating section or space before they arrive (not a static PDF map and a guess). It's a small shift in how venues talk to fans before the gate even opens. But it changes the emotional math of buying a ticket. Confidence before purchase beats a map after arrival, every time.
