Congratulations to our Tourmaline student teams for an outstanding showing at this year's Bitumen Bowl, hosted by Young Canadians for Resources! Competing against students from companies across Calgary, our teams rose to the challenge, with one team earning the Executive's Choice Award and another receiving the Students Choice Award in YCR's annual policy case competition.   This year's competition challenged participants to negotiate complex Canadian energy and public policy issues through a live stakeholder simulation, testing their critical thinking, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills in front of industry leaders.   We're proud to see our students represent Tourmaline with such professionalism, teamwork, and excellence. Congratulations to everyone involved on this well-deserved achievement!

On June 21, National Indigenous Peoples Day, we honour the history, heritage, and vibrant cultures of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Canada. We're committed to deepening our relationships with Indigenous partners and communities where we live and work.

Tourmaline was honored to be a sponsor for the #IndspireSoaring 2026 gathering in Halifax. This year, we were proud to support 18 Indigenous youth from our operating areas in attending the event. We were thrilled to connect with hundreds of Indigenous students from across Canada and discuss the many exciting career paths in the energy industry.

Scott Volk, Tourmaline's Director of Emissions and Innovation joined industry leaders this week at #CERAWeek2026 in Houston for the Canada House panel, “Canada’s Low-Carbon LNG Advantage: Partnerships, Projects, and the Path Ahead.” The discussion highlighted how Canada’s LNG sector is advancing through strong environmental standards, innovative technologies, and meaningful partnerships with Indigenous communities. As global energy demand continues to rise, Canadian natural gas plays a critical role in strengthening energy security, supporting economic growth, and delivering reliable energy to domestic and global markets.

Tourmaline is proud to be named one of the recipients of the Workplace Excellence Award at the 2025 United Way Impact Awards. This recognition highlights workplace campaigns that demonstrate outstanding commitment, innovation, and community impact. We were specifically recognized for our growth in employee giving and our 16-year history of supporting UW, and annual contributions to Planet Youth.
