This is not a narrow marketing role. You'll tell the stories behind promising neurological research, strengthen a growing brand with national reach, build meaningful relationships across our community, and help bring two of Calgary's most distinctive fundraising events to life: the Branch Out Bike Tour in June and Your Brain on Art in November. A bit of context: Branch Out has directed more than $2.9 million to over 230 research projects, all with a very small team. That means significant ownership and very little bureaucracy. You'll make decisions, build new systems, test bold ideas, and see the impact of your work directly. I'm looking for someone with strong marketing and events experience, a builder's mindset, and the instinct to use modern tools, including AI, to move quickly and work intelligently. That last part matters to me. A small team that uses these tools well can operate with the reach and effectiveness of a much larger one, and I want someone who thinks that way. A degree is an asset, not a requirement. What matters most is what you've done, how you think, and what you want to build next. The role is Calgary-based and hybrid. Over time, we delved into epidemics and child soldiers, learning an ample amount about each subject to be able to hold detailed discussions on them. We presented to junior high school and high school students around Calgary, holding interactive discussions with them to get their minds thinking on the fate of the future. We…
