IMT has its roots in the microstructuring of metallic coatings on planar optical substrates. Over the years, we have continually added to this core expertise with complementary technologies. Our solutions are now used in the semiconductor industry, medical technology, biophotonics, life sciences, sports optics and in optical measurement technology. In addition to applications focusing on optical functions, the IMT product range also includes components with electronic and/or mechanical functions. Our microfluidic components combine the full range together in one element. Etched microchannels, bores (TGV), structured metal and dielectric coatings, electronic conductors (electrodes) and optical gratings, for example, are all possible thanks to state-of-the-art semiconductor technology. We have positioned ourselves as a service provider in the field of micro-optics and microtechnology. Development and series production is conducted exclusively on a customer-specific basis. Open cooperation based on partnership lays the foundation for mutual long-term success. Our engineers would be happy to help you on the journey from idea to series product.
