Bringing our #PrivateBanking teams together is one of the best investments we can make.   Over the past few days, we hosted the 8th edition of our International Private Banking Programme, welcoming our colleagues from Mexico 🇲🇽, Peru 🇵🇪, Colombia 🇨🇴 and Spain 🇪🇸 for a series of intensive sessions led by our specialists on artificial intelligence, blockchain and key developments in investment advisory.   Beyond the classroom, these days reminded us that expertise grows when it is shared. The real added value came from the exchange between markets. Different client realities, business environments and ways of working led to practical conversations that broadened perspectives and strengthened our #GlobalWealth approach.   By creating these opportunities to connect, we continue reinforcing International Private Banking at BBVA as one team, united by a common purpose and committed to delivering the best possible service to our clients.   A special thank you to all our speakers for sharing their knowledge, and above all to our colleagues who joined us in Switzerland. 🔎 #CryptoZoom | #Bitcoin spot ETFs have been struggling to keep assets as of late. Over the past two months, the ETFs have had net outflows of USD 9 billion (or 131’824 BTC), which equates to a daily average of USD 236 million per day (or 3’469 BTC). If we look at the chart below, we can see that net inflows peaked in October 2025, which is exactly when the BTC price peaked as well, indicating it might be worth questioning whether ETF flows can be used as a contrarian indicator. If that is the case, then we should see ETF outflows peaking at the same time BTC price is bottoming.

The devastating impact of the earthquakes in #Venezuela continues to weigh heavily on all of us. The road to recovery will take time and it requires a collective effort. True #team spirit shows when you find yourself cheering for a flag that isn't yours. ⚽ During our recent gathering at BBVA in Switzerland, colleagues of different nationalities teamed up to build DIY cardboard football tables. We wore different colours, backed new teams, and celebrated every single goal together. Beyond the friendly competition, the best part was what happened off the pitch: great conversations, lots of fun and building stronger relationships outside our day-to-day work.
