Steven Bojjo is a MEAL expert, public health specialist, data scientist, and full‑stack developer with over eight years of experience advancing health programs in fragile and conflict‑affected settings, particularly South Sudan. He currently serves as a Public Health Officer with the State Ministry of Health – Central Equatoria (seconded by WHO), where he chairs weekly emergency response meetings for cholera and MPOX, leads surveillance data systems across 30+ health facilities, and designs risk communication strategies reaching over 200,000 community members.

His technical expertise spans digital M&E, validation protocols, and geospatial analysis, with a demonstrated ability to increase data accuracy by 40% in conflict zones.
Outside the public health sector, Steven is the founder of CATLAT and Equanovate – two multi‑function platforms addressing mobility, SME financing, job matching, and fraud detection in South Sudan. He built a credit scoring model using non‑traditional data and a skills‑based job matching algorithm, combining his data science training (MSc Data Science, University of East London) with grassroots problem‑solving. His work has been recognized globally, including a presentation of his COVID‑19 strategy at the Harvard Boost Community conference.
