Zaida Chinchilla-Rodríguez
Ph.D. in Information Science. She has a tenured position as Associate Research Professor at the Institute of Public Goods and Policies (IPP) of Spanish National Research Council in Madrid (Spain).
Member of the SCImago Research Group since its inception, she has participated in the group’s most ambitious projects (http://www.scimago.es), working on the scientific reports about the scientific production of international visibility for different national and international organizations and the exploitation and analysis of the different indicators and products developed by the SCImago Research Group.
Her major research areas are scientometric analyses of different scientific domains (geographic and disciplinary) for specific problem resolution and to facilitate decision-making processes; analysis of scientific collaboration and its impact on scientific results; methodological proposals oriented to the design of indicators and information systems.
