AI doesn't replace judgement. It supports it. That's not a caveat. It's how we think about building and using AI across Capital.com. We use AI to process information faster, surface patterns, and reduce friction in decisions that used to take longer than they should. What we don't do is remove the human from the loop. Every significant decision at Capital.com has a person accountable for the outcome. We treat AI the way we treat any critical tool: with governance, with review, and with defined limits. Because in financial services, a bad decision isn't a statistic. It's a client. That's the standard we hold ourselves to.

Our recent event in Rome reaffirmed the principle that guides everything we do in Italy: financial education and risk management are not optional - they are the starting point. Thanks to Capital.com's presence in Italy, we regularly host in-person educational events across the country alongside our weekly webinars. Both are built on the same principle: approaching the markets by understanding risk first, rather than chasing returns. A special thanks to Raffaele Costa, Capital.com's official educator, for leading the educational session, and to the entire Capital.com Italy team who took part in the event. Our live events create a unique opportunity for meaningful discussions, real questions, and a community where traders and investors can learn from one another and build lasting knowledge. 73% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this provider. #AI arrived in retail finance years ago. The question was never whether it would reshape how people invest and trade. The question has always been what firms choose to design it to do. Capital.com's CEO for Europe, Christoforos Soutzis, writes in Politis this week on exactly that, in the context of Cyprus and the choice it now faces. Building a credible AI finance hub takes more than licensing. It requires a shared commitment to responsible innovation, and the experienced operators based in #Cyprus are well-placed to set that standard collectively. The piece makes the case that AI in financial services presents a fundamental design question at every stage of development: build to maximise activity, or build to improve the quality of the decisions clients make. Capital.com has been asking itself that question since opening in Cyprus in 2017. The answer has shaped everything from how signals are surfaced to how interfaces are designed to help traders pause and reconsider when conditions shift quickly. As Christoforos puts it, the goal is better decision-making, not higher engagement. That is what a long-term relationship between a platform and its clients should look like, and it is the standard Cyprus has the institutional credibility and the right concentration of experienced operators to uphold. 50 product teams. One coherent product. Sasha, our Chief Product Officer, was the driving force behind Capital.com's product redesign - from the first raw visual ideas through to what you see on the website and app today. His biggest challenge wasn't the design itself. It was the invisible layer underneath: the design system, the technical architecture, the back-end infrastructure that ties mobile, web, and every team's work into something that feels like a single product rather than a collection of parts. "The rebrand is not about drastically pivoting into a completely different direction. It's actually an exercise of really just communicating better." Watch to hear how the team built a bridge between designers, engineers, and leadership - giving insight into what it actually takes to stay on top once you've climbed the mountain.

When a regulator asks whether our controls hold up, someone needs to have already checked. We're hiring an Internal Audit Manager to lead risk-based IT and cybersecurity audits across a fast-growing, CySEC-regulated trading platform. You'll work closely with Compliance and Risk, and present findings right up to the Board. Apply via the link: https://lnkd.in/g6iY_6yH Tag someone who'd be great for this role. #hiring

Hormuz disruption, a broad equity rotation, and a Gold market pullback. Three distinct phases shaped how retail traders used our platform across Q2 2026, and the data tells that story clearly. As part of our Q2 Platform Update, Capital.com facilitated $1.13 trillion in client trading volume across the quarter. Volume traded in Gold markets reached 42.4% of total platform activity, the highest share of any instrument, driven by elevated commodity demand through April before activity rotated toward equity markets in May and June. The Middle East accounted for 57.2% of platform volume, the largest regional share. The number we watch most closely is stop-loss adoption. It increased from 22.4% in Q1 to 26.6% in Q2. A pre-defined exit removes the real-time decision at the point of maximum market stress, replacing reaction with a rule set before the pressure began. That is the kind of discipline the platform is built to support, and growth in that figure is what better decision-making looks like in practice.
