What does a better airport security experience look like, for both passengers and operators? Take a trip inside the terminal to see how SECTRO is reshaping passenger screening from the ground up. Behind the scenes, SECTRO is a fully automated system that transforms security screening from a linear process into a parallel one. By centralising key functions and introducing self-service at critical points, it helps airports optimise layouts, avoid bottlenecks, and handle peak volumes more efficiently. The system connects biometric data with carry-on baggage for faster processing, supports remote screening, and significantly reduces manual intervention — cutting operator requirements by up to 30%. And with dedicated re-check areas built in, the flow stays steady even when exceptions occur. Find out more by downloading our SECTRO whitepaper: https://okt.to/sy296V

Building a long-distance conveyor through rough terrain at the foot of a mountain is already a complex task. When the route also passes through densely populated areas, keeping noise emissions within local limits adds another layer of complexity. At Yadong Cement in Sichuan, China, BEUMER Group delivered an overland conveyor system for transporting limestone from the quarry to the factory. With a total length of more than 26 kilometres, the system is designed for efficient long-distance transport with smart operation and feed control. With low-maintenance components and a design adapted to local noise requirements, it keeps limestone moving efficiently across a challenging landscape. Take a closer look at the 26-kilometre-long belt conveyor installation and discover how overland conveying can support reliable limestone transport across demanding routes: https://okt.to/trJRED

At DPD Polska Sp z o.o. Warszawa depot, our BG Line Sorter system supports reliable and consistent sortation, even at high volumes. Designed to manage a wide mix of parcel shapes and sizes, including envelopes, polybags and high-friction items like car tyres, the system includes an inbound conveyor merge system, scanners with automated data capture, accurate induction, guided discharges for optimal chute filling, and direct discharge to boom conveyors for truck loading. With full sortation control managed by our CEP Software Suite, the process is structured to keep operations on track. Built with durability and flexibility in mind, the BG Line Sorter’s modular design supports future layout changes and capacity expansions. Its robust construction and maintenance-free motor technology help lower energy use and reduce operational costs over time. When it comes to accessibility, dedicated walkways provide easy access to all critical points, making maintenance simpler and supporting higher system availability. It’s a system built not only for today’s parcel mix, but for tomorrow’s operational demands. For further CEP insights visit our dedicated Knowledge Hub: https://okt.to/EvOLAn

Robotic applications can support warehouse and depot operations in several ways, from improving handling processes to helping manage increasing parcel volumes. Bringing robots into an existing setup, however, requires well-planned coordination on the IT side. CEP operators need to decide how closely these systems should be connected, whether a lighter or more comprehensive level of integration is appropriate. This also means understanding the IT environment the robots will operate within, as well as preparing for different operational scenarios and system responses. A structured approach to integration helps ensure that robotics work effectively within the wider intralogistics system. Working with specialists can support a more stable, coordinated flow of goods and help operators get better value from their investment over time. Our BEUMER Group Denmark colleagues recently took part in the Danish Cyclists’ Federation’s annual “Bike to Work” campaign. The initiative encourages colleagues across Denmark to commute by bike, form teams and track their progress throughout the month, and featured both experienced cyclists and those just getting started. Across our teams, colleagues cycled a combined 23,530 km and helped avoid approximately 3,185 kg of CO₂. Well done to everyone who took part in such an important initiative.

Order profiles are becoming more complex, with smaller items, multi-item baskets and growing return volumes adding pressure across fulfilment operations. So how can a pouch sorter support modern e-commerce fulfilment? In this Knowledge Hub article, we explore how pouch sorter systems transport, buffer, sort and sequence individual items within a single overhead system. This can help fulfilment centres handle mixed orders more efficiently while making use of available vertical space. The article also looks at how pouch systems can support batch picking and returns processing, while contributing to more consistent order fulfilment. Read more: https://okt.to/2oLxJK

For years, parcel network performance has been closely linked to speed. As operations grow more complex, however, another factor is gaining importance: visibility across the entire network. This CEP Knowledge Hub article explores how Dynamic Parcel Networks rely on shared, real-time information to support better planning, reduce avoidable costs and allow operators to respond earlier to shifting conditions. The technology to enable this approach is already available. The real opportunity lies in connecting systems, assets and data to build a clearer, more complete view of operations, and using that insight to support day-to-day decision-making. Read the full article to learn how greater visibility can support more responsive and efficient parcel networks: https://okt.to/Hfi0b4
