2️⃣ days dedicated to collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment. 💪 Recently, our Group Products & Innovation team gathered in Rotterdam, NL, for their first workshop since the new setup of our five Global Product Centers Engineering, Static Equipment, Rotating Equipment, Insulation, Scaffolding & Painting (ISP), and Maintenance. Hosted at our local Bilfinger office, the gathering was all about sharing expertise, strengthening collaboration, and aligning on product portfolio management – supporting Bilfinger’s vision to be No. 1 for its customers in enhancing efficiency and sustainability. Pedaling for the planet — Stadtradeln 2026 🚴♂️🌍 At #TeamBilfinger, sustainability is part of our daily work, and sometimes, we take it to the streets. Recently, 23 colleagues in Germany joined “Stadtradeln”, a nationwide cycling challenge where teams ride together to reduce CO₂ emissions and promote greener mobility. Together, they covered 3,865 km across 312 rides, saving 633.9 kg of CO₂. A special shoutout to our top three riders: 🥇 Oliver Schmitt — 638.7 km 🥈 Markus Müller — 419.0 km 🥉 Swen Kellermeier — 410.3 km Congratulations to all three and a huge thank you to everyone who participated this year. »57 meters tall, 31 million liters of water – and yet, at its core, quite simple: a thermos for the heat transition.« 🔋↗️ … and a Milestone for our customer Iqony in Gelsenkirchen, Germany! 💪 Last week, the city’s new heat accumulator was officially inaugurated in a ceremony attended by North Rhine-Westphalia’s Minister of Economic Affairs Mona Neubaur, Gelsenkirchen’s Mayor Andrea Henze, and representatives from Iqony. The event underscored the importance of this investment for a sustainable and future-proof heat supply. 🎉 Bilfinger fully realized the two-zone heat storage system, thereby making an important contribution to greater flexibility, security of supply, and the decarbonization of district heating in the Ruhr region. After about two years from engineering to assembly and a successful trial run, we were able to hand over the large-scale heat accumulator to Iqony at the end of February 2026. 👏 Our special thanks go to all our colleagues who contributed to the successful delivery!

The "Prime" status is awarded to companies that clearly exceed the industry-specific sustainability requirements defined by ISS ESG.
