Every order routing decision is only as good as its execution. ❗ Modern OMS platforms decide in real time which store should fulfill which order. But too often, that intelligence stops at the store door: no priorities on the device, no visibility of the cut-off that made an order urgent. Our Store Operations app closes that gap. And as of today, it does so on every platform: generally available on Android, iOS, and web. One app, one feature set, built from a single codebase, so every new feature arrives everywhere at the same time. 🙌 Picking, packing, services, and handover, guided on the device in the associate's hand, every task originating from a routing decision. What the network decides, the store executes. More on the thinking behind it, and why we call it the last fifty meters of order routing, in the article by Product Marketing Manager Daaron Eßers. 👇 #OrderManagement #AgenticOMS #Fulfillment

Info
⚡ It's here: the fulfillmenttools community node for n8n, verified and ready to go: https://lnkd.in/dfGE2_Pk Great news for our customers and partners: you can now connect our Agentic Order Management System to 1,000+ apps with no glue code. Orders, facilities, carriers, inbound, all automated end to end. For customers, that means faster integrations and less engineering overhead. For our partner ecosystem, it's a new, low-friction way to build fulfillmenttools into the solutions you deliver. Modern Order Management shouldn't live in a silo. Now it doesn't have to. We're excited to see what kind of workflows the community will build over the next months leveraging n8n and our community node. Big shoutout to my dear colleague Andreas Runschke for making this happen, and big thanks to skriptfabrik GmbH for contributing to this milestone. #n8n #fulfillmenttools #Automation #OrderManagement #Partnerships

We're proud to announce that Christ Juweliere und Uhrmacher seit 1863 GmbH has chosen fulfillmenttools as Agentic OMS 🙌 Read Linda Kuhr's post below and our latest press release for more information 👉 https://lnkd.in/ejuXQbNs
New customer, and it’s a great one: Christ Juweliere und Uhrmacher seit 1863 GmbH has chosen our fulfillmenttools Agentic OMS. Jewelry retail is a strange beast for order management. High-value items, complex inventory, customers who expect a flawless experience whether they’re in a store or online. Get availability wrong on a €2,000 watch and you don’t get a second chance. It’s a segment we already know well and it taught us a lot about what “flawless” actually means when the product is expensive and the customer is unforgiving. Christ Juweliere und Uhrmacher seit 1863 GmbH didn’t rip out their core systems. They went composable instead, adding fulfillmenttools as one piece next to commercetools , with KPS AG driving the transformation. There are only a few retail executives who’ve truly understood omnichannel the way Michael Berghoff has. He says it on stage often enough: order management is key to a great omnichannel experience. Not the flashy part, but the part that actually makes or breaks the promise. Thanks for your trust, Michael and team.

Most conversations about AI agents focus on one question: 👉 Can they act autonomously? The more important question is: 👉 What should they be allowed to act on? In the latest article of the Agentic Order Management series, we explore why full autonomy is not the goal. It's scoped autonomy. Swipe ➡️ to find out what this means in practice.

🌸 Every bouquet is a promise. Keeping it at scale is the hard part. At K5 - Future Retail Conference, our Head of Customer Success Mark Byerly hit the stage with Lydia Oertel from BLUME2000 SE to unpack how they run order management for a business where a wilted delivery is a broken promise, not just a late package. In this masterclass, Lydia and Mark talk through: 🌱 The operational reality behind promising and fulfilling flower orders 🌱 How BLUME2000 built reliability into a notoriously perishable, time-critical supply chain 🌱 What it takes to make "in-full, on-time" work when the product itself has a shelf life Watch the full masterclass: https://okt.to/AJMZN2

Ask a vendor if their AI agent is autonomous. They'll say yes. 🤖 Read the fine print: it surfaces an insight, drafts a recommendation. A human clicks approve. Fine product. Wrong label. And that's exactly where buyers start losing trust. Full autonomy is also the wrong goal for an OMS. These are decisions with real consequences: sourcing, rebooking, compensating customers. What works is scoped autonomy, in three modes: 👉 Notify — the agent acts, then tells you 👉 Approve — the agent proposes, ranks trade-offs, waits 👉 Co-decide — the agent brings the analysis, the human calls it And every action needs to be explainable, traceable, and reversible. "The AI did it" is not an answer for a customer, an auditor, or a board. Product Marketing Manager Daaron Eßers wrote about how this shapes our Order Monitoring Agent and Order Routing Agent 👇 https://okt.to/QDY9NZ

Everyone's talking about AI in commerce. But who's taking care of the delivery promise? ✨ Last week, at MACHmittag AI BBQ by kernpunkt, Jan, Sebastian Schaum and Oytun made the case: without a strong OMS at the backbone, every AI commerce vision stays theoretical. Smart routing, real-time inventory, transparent order status — these are the foundations that AI agents actually depend on. Big thanks to our partner kernpunkt for the event & the delicious BBQ and to all attendees for the conversations. See you next time. 🙌
