🇦🇲 Armenia's solar market has grown faster than almost anyone expected. Installed capacity already surpassed the government's 2030 target, four years ahead of schedule. As the market matures, the next challenge isn't capacity, it's quality. Higher efficiency, better land use, and stronger project economics are becoming the real differentiators. "Armenia's solar market has grown faster than almost anyone expected, and that creates real opportunity for technology that performs well under the country's specific conditions," said Adrian Kočan, General Manager of LONGi Solar Eastern Europe (DG). Through our strategic partnership with Sunhit Armenia, LONGi is bringing HPBC 2.0 back contact technology to Armenia, supporting the next phase of the country's energy transition. 🇬🇷 Greece has become one of Europe's PV leaders in a remarkably short time. What comes next is storage. The pressure that rapid solar growth creates on the grid is turning storage from a future consideration into an immediate market priority. The companies that will shape the next chapter of Greece's energy transition are those with the right technology, market presence, and local knowledge to deploy what is needed, where it is needed, and when it is needed. ⚡ "Greece needs reliable, bankable storage solutions delivered by partners who understand the local regulatory environment and the expectations of developers who have been waiting for this market to open." said Panos Blatsios, Managing Director at INERGION, on signing the 400 MWh MoU with LONGi Solar at Intersolar Europe 2026. "Extending this partnership into storage is a natural step, and the scale of the pipeline reflects genuine market demand, not an aspiration." Added Adrian Kočan, General Manager Eastern Europe at LONGi Solar (DG). Read the full story on our blog. Link in the comments. Energy access is a European problem too ⚡ In 2024, 9.2 percent of the EU population could not keep their home adequately warm, according to Eurostat. The share reached 17.5 percent in Spain and 19.0 percent in Bulgaria and in Greece. The second version of the problem is a grid that exists and stops working. Attacks on energy and transport networks in southern Ukraine left the Izmail district without electricity for three days at a stretch during 2025. LONGi donated the back contact modules for a 30 kW solar and storage system at the Central District Hospital in the Izmail district, built by the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation and completed in October 2025. The surgical and intensive care units keep working for several hours after a complete grid failure, and the system holds voltage steady for diagnostic equipment. "During the latest outage, there was no electricity for three days," said Oleh Sadkovskyi, CEO of the Central District Hospital of the Safianivka village council. Two further projects sit in the article. A maternity clinic in Linga Linga, Mozambique, where a donated 0.86 kW rooftop system powers the pump that puts running water into the building, and a village school in Arroyomolinos de León, Spain, whose 42.5 kWp roof shares its output with households around it. A social impact figure is worth what is still generating behind it. Read the full article in the first comment. 👇 #EnergyAccess #EnergyPoverty #SolarEnergy #SocialImpact #ESG #RooftopSolar

Integrated solar and storage systems prevent energy value loss 🔋☀️ Standalone solar installations often experience value loss due to timing mismatches and grid connection limits. Maximum generation occurs at midday, while site demand and higher power prices typically occur during morning and evening hours. Grid connections can restrict export levels regardless of rooftop capacity. In addition, generation without storage cannot provide power outside daylight hours or support critical loads during an outage. Combining solar generation with battery storage allows sites to store excess midday energy and release it during peak demand periods. DC-coupled architectures charge the battery directly on the DC side, avoiding conversion losses of up to 5 percent. Supplying generation and storage as an integrated system, such as through LONGi's unified platform approach, helps commercial operators manage generation, capacity, and load under a single system. Anti-glare glass no longer costs a glare-sensitive roof the output it used to 🏢 A business with a roof near an airport or a transport corridor often finds that solar there needs anti-glare glass to clear the glare review. The question that follows, for the owner and the contractor alike, is what that glass costs in output. That cost used to be measurable. Textured glass breaks up the reflection a safety reviewer worries about, and some of the light the cells need gets broken up with it. The Hi-MO X10 Guardian Anti-Glare Pro pairs a chemically etched anti-glare surface with HPBC 2.0 back-contact cells, which move the wiring to the rear and free the full front face to absorb light. Most of the output the glass used to cost comes back. • 640 to 665 W at 23.69 to 24.62 percent module efficiency on the 66-cell module, across six power bins • Certified by TÜV Rheinland to 2 PfG 3146, Class AAA, the imperceptible band • A Daylight Glare Probability of 0.29 in TÜV Rheinland testing, under the 0.35 imperceptible threshold EN 17037 sets • Roughly 0.9 percent total reflectivity, against about 2.9 percent for a conventional module structure For the owner, a glare-sensitive site no longer costs the return it used to. The yield objection an installer used to face no longer applies, and the permit file carries a documented module-level result a reviewing authority can check. LONGi BC technology is on the only two European cars at the 2026 Elektrek American Solar Challenge ☀️🏎️ Innoptus Solar Team from Belgium and Delft Solar Team from the Netherlands start the 2026 Elektrek American Solar Challenge on 25 July, running from Minnesota to Texas across eight days. Both finished in the top three at the 2025 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, and both are carrying LONGi back contact technology. A race car has a small, fixed array and no other direct energy source, so conversion efficiency decides how much power the team has to work with. Innoptus runs our customised high-efficiency BC flexible modules, designed for curved bodywork and a lightweight structure. Delft integrates our high-efficiency BC solar cell strings into its vehicle energy system. Eight days of continuous running puts photovoltaic technology through operating conditions that a fixed installation does not produce. Good luck to both teams. Long-term reliability is the first control on a rooftop system's waste ♻️ European rooftop solar is judged on what a system leaves behind, alongside the energy it generates. The EU WEEE Directive requires that at least 85 percent of a panel by weight is recovered and 80 percent recycled, and the Commission's Joint Research Centre published harmonized carbon-footprint rules for PV modules in July 2025 as a first step toward product-level requirements under Ecodesign. How much waste a system produces is decided earlier than that, by how long each module stays on the roof. A module replaced mid-installation is a second module built and shipped, and a first one sent for disposal with years of output still in it. What keeps a module off the replacement schedule: • TÜV SÜD type approval to IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 on LONGi's rooftop range, the design-qualification and safety standards whose accelerated tests reproduce the stresses that shorten a module's life • A 30-year power warranty, with a declared first-year loss of 1 percent and 0.35 percent a year after that • Grade A anti-shading certified by TÜV Rheinland in June 2025, on HPBC 2.0 modules whose quasi-bypass diode structure cuts shading power loss by over 70 percent against TOPCon • Up to 94 percent of the materials in a module recoverable and reusable, with 4,589.27 MW reported through a WEEE compliance organization in 2025 Read the full article in the first comment below. 👇 #SolarEnergy #RooftopSolar #PVModules #CircularEconomy #WEEE #Sustainability

It has come to our attention that "search4solar" is offering Hi‑MO 7 modules at a promotional price. We confirm that these are authentic surplus panels from a previous 100MW utility project, and the price reflects that project's specific context – it should not be interpreted as a change in our regular distribution or a stock clearance event. We would like to clarify that we do not have full visibility into "search4solar"'s qualifications or the commercial terms they propose. Therefore, while we respect the seller's independent business, we recommend that buyers clarify warranty and service responsibilities directly with them, as our official warranty terms are designed for purchases through our authorised network. For customers seeking the assurance of our complete warranty and service package, we remain available to facilitate the same batch through our own channels, ensuring seamless support from delivery to operation. #LONGiAnnouncement 李晓朋, Adrian Kočan, Hugo Fernandez, Qian Lola Li, Will Han
