Dr Danielle Tyson is Senior Lecturer in Criminology at Deakin University and Co-Director of the Monash-Deakin Filicide Research Hub.
Dr Danielle Tyson’s research focuses on gender, violence and culture; legal responses to intimate partner homicide; homicide law reform; filicide in the context of separation; and gender, justice and sentencing.
Danielle joined the Department of Criminology in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Deakin University in 2016. Prior to this she taught Criminology at Monash University, Australia, the University of Brighton, England, and at the University of Melbourne, Australia, and Legal Studies at La Trobe University, Victoria, Australia.
