Developing and implementing an integrated framework that combined lean, agile, resilience, and green (LARG) in the production function and into a variety of environmental sustainability initiatives for sustainable manufacturing in SMEs could be a possible solution. Using a systematic literature review, critical strategic challenges were determined and further authenticated by domain specialists. Furthermore, approved factors are examined to develop the causal relationship using the multi-criteria decision analysis technique. The research study has explored that 'Incredulity towards low-value addition as the new system' is the most causal critical strategic challenge affecting others. The novelty of the work is the research approach where lean-agility-resilience-green dimensions are collectively affecting the sustainable performance of manufacturing SMEs. The conceptual framework developed can act as the roadmap for developing operational excellence strategies for manufacturing SMEs, across various industries and sectors from the integration perspective of various business ecosystems, and environmental and social considerations. The work is an attempt to contribute to production decisions during eco-sensitive lean project implementation in SMEs.

Design/methodology/approach-To validate the proposed model, the authors used an offline survey to gather data from 260 district magistrates in India managing the COVID-19 pandemic. Findings-The results affirm the importance of the DHDC system for DRR. The findings depict that the impact of PODC on DRR in the DHDC system is negligible. This study can help policymakers in planning during emergencies. Research limitations/implications-Technological innovation has reshaped the way humanitarian organizations (HOs) respond to humanitarian crises. These organizations are able to provide immediate aid to affected communities through digital humanitarianism (DH), which involves significant innovations to match the specific needs of people in real-time through online platforms. Despite the growing need for DH, there is still limited know-how regarding how to leverage such technological concepts into disaster management. Moreover, the impact of DH on DRR is rarely examined. Originality/value-The present study examines the impact of the dynamic capabilities of HOs on DRR by applying the resource-based view (RBV) and dynamic capability theory (DCT).

A noted list of 15,000 articles from journals and search results are used from academic databases (viz. Science Direct, Web of Sciences). Out of various content analysis techniques (Seuring & Gold, 2012), latent sementic analysis (LSA) is used as a content analysis tool (Wei, Yang, & Lin, 2008; Kundu et al., 2015). The reason for adoption of LSA over existing bibliometric techniques is to use the combination of text analysis and mining method to formulate latent factors. LSA creates the scientific grounding to understand the trends. Using LSA, Understanding future research trends will assist researchers in the area of service supply chain forecasting. The study will be beneficial for practitioners of the strategic and operational aspects of service supply chain decision making. The chapter incorporates four sections. The first section describes the introduction to service supply chain management and research development in this domain. The second section describes usage of LSA for current study. The third section describes the finding and results. The fourth and final sections conclude the chapter with a brief discussion on research findings, its limitations, and the implications for future research. The outcomes of analysis presented in this chapter also provide opportunities for researchers/professionals to position their future service supply chain research and/or implementation strategies.

The effects of the pandemic can be witnessed on global supply chains in their demand & supply side disruptions and in the changing patterns of consumer buying in the food industry. The assessment of the disruptive factors is required to explore the present issues and promising resilient strategies to impart robustness to the FSCs for mitigating disruptions in the future. An integrated approach of Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) and Weighted Assessment Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) is employed to assess the factors related to sourcing, lean, workforce, and flexibility, as well as evaluation of the BC-T enabled FSCs resilient strategies that mitigate the effect of disruption during the pandemic. The findings exhibit that 'Sourcing related' is the most affecting disruptive factor causing distress in the FSCs and 'flexibility resilient strategy' is the most relevant resilient strategy for BC-T enabled FSCs. The BC-T acts as a catalyst in enhancing the flexibility, traceability, and shorter supply chain network structure that may help the FSCs to mitigate risk and disruption in the pandemic situation. The BC-T helps the FSCs to control the demand and supply shocks, and supports the organization with real-time monitoring and sharing information. This study provides insights to the decision-makers, managers, and other stakeholders to take significant decisions during an emergency.

This work presents a new analysis method of texture features for classification of Diabetic Retinopathy (DR). The proposed method masks the blood vessels and optic disk segmented and directly extracts the textural features from the remaining retinal region. The proposed method is much simpler with comparison of the other methods that detect the defective regions first and then extract the required features for classification. The Haralick texture measures calculated are used for classification of DR. The proposed method is evaluated through a classification of DR using both Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Artificial Neural Network (ANN). The results of SVM have a better accuracy (87.5%) over ANN (79%). The performance of the proposed method is presented also in terms of sensitivity and specificity.
