Improve desktop icon visibility #19148

Description

@charlescook-ph

Problem

The new desktop icons on the homepage look great, but there's concern they read as part of the desktop background rather than as clickable elements. The glass effect makes them low-contrast, and the demo video is the only icon shown in full color. Heatmap data so far seems to back this up — the glassy icons are getting comparatively little engagement.

This matters because the desktop icons are currently the only route to the self-driving page (it's not in the nav).

Suggested change to explore

Improve icon visibility — the glass effect reduces contrast against the background so the icons don't obviously read as clickable. Explore higher-contrast / more color treatment so they clearly look interactive.

Best solution TBD — flagging for design/UX exploration.
