– All frames were fully rendered and completed without errors.
– All output files are available for download in your account (486 files across 6 passes).
– We have no record of any support request or message from you regarding these jobs.
We would genuinely like to understand what issue you experienced. Could you please reach out to our support team at support@ranchcomputing.com so we can investigate together further?
I would assume a download issue on your end (like corrupted) or with RANCHSync.
So you can simply re-download the files which are all available, even with the web interface or an FTP client.

Once again, your service has failed me.
I’m currently downloading the frames from my latest submitted file, and once again my work has been ruined. We have fully trusted your services, but the last few experiences have been a nightmare.
This time, the complete file was sent with Anima people included, yet half of the frames were rendered without people and the other half with people. In addition, some frames were rendered with the FStorm watermark visible. This is completely unacceptable.
I want my money back!

[UPDATE – 18 MAY 2026]
Dear readers, we would like to update this response with the outcome of this case:
-We issued a full refund for the entire project, even though a significant portion of the rendered frames were technically usable.
-The project has been re-rendered successfully.
-The issue is fully resolved.
-The watermark licensing incident that affected a limited number of machines has been permanently fixed.
We reached out to Cristobal privately to kindly ask whether he would consider updating his rating in light of the resolution and the full refund issued. We have not received a response to date.
We chose to share this update transparently so that everyone can have the full picture. Our 4.5/5 average rating across hundreds of reviews reflects our usual standard of service, and we remain fully committed to it.

I am sorry to hear about the difficulties you have encountered.
I fully understand your frustration.
Please be assured that since your last project submission 7 days ago, all watermark licensing issues on the affected machines have been resolved several days ago. You should no longer see any watermarks on the frames.
Regarding Anima, this plugin has historically presented some challenges. However, there are workarounds to prevent missing characters. Please refer to this documentation page, specifically the last paragraph (https://www.ranchcomputing.com/en/documentation/3ds-max/troubleshooting/).
You will need to follow Anima's guidelines for network rendering: https://docs45.axyz-design.com/article/sharing-anima-resources-on-a-network/
I have already sent you an e-mail so that we can refund and help you out render the problematic frames.

I can understand your point of view. The more cost-effective remains to render on your own machine(s). Nonetheless considering the amount of time you save I think this is worth to pay around 6 to 16€ for these still images.
By the way, you did not claim the 30€ free refill offered to new users: you would have benefited from several images for free.

Good farm
you can cached simulations easly in houdini and use that cache on cloud after for the render. The tutorials on the website are hard to follow.. the farm works good but it toke me time to understand how it works...

My file which uses OSL shaders did not compute properly. Furthermore, when trying to pack my blender scene for rendering it continuously crashed and would not work.

You have sent one single test project with only 3 images. In that case I recommend you use the CPULow priority to keep the price as low as possible as you have chosen the Medium formula which is only useful for tight deadline or big animations usually.

Maya Crash
Maya crashes over and over again after the project has been packed by the the RanChecker. Pretty annoying. Normally after restarting all programms the problem seems to be solved ... for now. But at the moment it crashes permanentely. I don't know if it's a Maya issue or it's caused by your software. That makes working really hard.
