Divyansh Kumar Sinha
I am an archaeologist driven by a deep curiosity about human origins, landscapes, and cultural expressions—especially through rock art and prehistoric studies.
My journey combines field-intensive archaeology with cutting-edge digital tools. From documenting the prehistoric rock arts such as pictographs and Geoglyphs in the Konkan region to contributing to national-level cultural landscape mapping projects, I work at the intersection of archaeology, geospatial technology, and heritage conservation.
With experience across 50+ field surveys, excavations, and research projects, I have been involved in discovering and documenting prehistoric sites, analyzing lithic assemblages, and understanding cultural landscapes through GIS and remote sensing. My work also extends to experimental archaeology and public engagement—bridging academic research with community awareness.
I actively contribute to academic discourse through publications, international conferences, and collaborative research, while also organizing workshops and heritage programs that promote interdisciplinary learning.
I am particularly interested in advancing scientific approaches in archaeology especially in Prehistory, Rock art studies, quaternary research, and computational archaeology, to better understand and preserve our shared past.
Happy to do collaborative works with researchers from different parts of the World.
Let's connect and have some interactive discussions.
