This google suite training activity is one form of community service activities which is done by ... more This google suite training activity is one form of community service activities which is done by the excellent team of LPPM Unwidha Klaten. This is aimed at teachers to prepare the 21 st century skills. Before, the training activities took place, the team was conducted the observation and interview, so it was decided that the place for community service activities was SMA Negeri 1 Jatinom and it is carried out in three meeting session of training. The first meeting was training on google docs, google slides, and google sheets. The second meeting was google form and google drive. The third meeting was google site and google classroom. This training shows the enthusiasm of the participants to learn the 21 st century skills. It can be seen by the participants who consistently follow and explore all the material in training. From the total of 66 participants, 70% of them have completed all the task which is given in the end of each training. Besides, the participants are considered capable in operating various google suite according to the material provided.

Research on psychological well-being has been done in many countries, including Indonesia. Howeve... more Research on psychological well-being has been done in many countries, including Indonesia. However, the instruments for psychological well-being measurement available in Bahasa Indonesia are limited. This study aimed to adapt the EPOCH Measure of Adolescent Well-being which was developed by Kern et.al. [1] in Bahasa Indonesia. The EPOCH Measure of Adolescents Well-being assesses five positive psychological characteristics, i.e. Engagement, Perseverance, Optimism, Connectedness, and Happiness [1]. The adaptation of the instrument was done through some stages as suggested by Beaton [2]. The adaptation process was done through translation, synthesis, back translation, experts review and pre-testing. The translated version of the instrument was distributed to 40 junior high school students to check the readability of the instrument. The final version of the translated instrument was then tested to 514 junior high school students in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Item total correlation shows that there are 18 items that shows high correlation (rtt .360 -.505) and 2 items that shows low correlation (rtt .173 and .289). The translated version of the instrument shows reliability of the alpha coefficient .842. There is a need to do improvement on the translation on the items which has low item total correlations

In Menden Village, Kebonarum District, Klaten Regency, we were held this English training to the people who live there to become the participants. This activity is aimed to foster participants’ interest in mastering English, to provide additional basic knowledge of English, and to provide a way of learning English with specific strategies. It is hoped that this activity can be useful to their daily life to face the globalization era.

Testing the model used Servqual Test. The research design was quantitative. The hypothesis formulation used the Cronin Taylor Importance Servqual Test formula. The population is all consumers, the sample of consumers are adult consumers in both cities who have finished getting the services of the two Public Fuel Filling Stations. The technique of taking sample was purposive as many as 200 consumers. The test results show that the dimensions of empathy at the Pertamina Klaten gas station have the largest gap value. Pertamina gas stations parties must improve services which still provide the largest gap value to improve the quality of services and people satisfaction. Participants were selected using stratified random sampling method. Twenty two districts of Tehran based on employment rate, gross household expenditure, women's employment, total employment ratio, and household growth rate were divided into three zones, including low, moderate, and high. The sample size for each zone calculated 50 people with an appropriate formula. The inclusion criteria included age over 60, the ability to understand and respond to the questionnaire, and informed consent. Data were collected via a socio-demographic and standard of living questionnaire. The Living Standards Questionnaire is a self-report scale and includes 17 items in three dimensions. Validity and reliability of the questionnaire was confirmed by Jahan pour et al. (2017). After completing the questionnaires, the data were analyzed with SPSS-22 using one-way ANOVA and independent t-test. The mean±SD age of the participants was 63.7±2.9 years, 54% of them were male, 42% had primary and secondary education, and 57.3% were retired. Table shows the descriptive characteristics of the participants.

The present study deals with the features of long sentences in the novel The Autumn of the Patria... more The present study deals with the features of long sentences in the novel The Autumn of the Patriarch by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. This study aimed to identify the features of long sentences found in the novel and to suggest ways to comprehend the long sentences. This study is beneficial for the development of English teaching, particularly the structure course. The data were in the form of phrases, clauses, and sentences used in the novel which were collected through observation method (metode simak). Descriptive qualitative method was employed for analysing the data. The results indicated that most of the sentences were compound complex. Each clause can be identified through its subject, predicate, object, and adverb or complement. Each subordinate clause could be un-derstood by identifying the word(s) modified and introductory word used. Based on the findings in preliminary research, students got difficulties in writing. The subject of this research is the fourth semester students of English Study Program of Widya Dharma University Klaten. Data showed from the pre-test, the students’ skills in each writing aspects are still low, namely organization (62%), content (65%), syntax/grammar (61%), mechanics (57%), and vocabulary (66%). The techniques of collecting the data in this study are observation, interview, questionnaire, and test. The technique of analyzing the data is using interactive model analysis from Miles & Huberman for qualitative data and descriptive statistic for quantitative data. Starting from the questionnaire and observation that had been done by the researcher to English students of Widya Dharma University of Klaten in preliminary research, there are still many students that have low ability in writing because insufficient practice in writing. Most of writing activities in the class give the theories of writing with less practicing. Even when the students did the task, they only did the task based on the instruction then submitted without any revision. Melalui pendidikan, anak mampu berinteraksi dengan lingkungan, menjaga dan memelihara tata kelola kehidupan dalam masyarakat. According to the objective, the writer propose a hypothesis to give a temporary answer the question “Do the students with the higher vocabulary mastery are able to speak English better than those with low vocabulary mastery. The research was held in the fourth Semester Students of English Education Program of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Widya Dharma University Klaten In 2015. In collecting the data, the writer uses a test which in the form of multiple choice type (vocabulary) and dialogue (speaking skill) where the vocabulary test consists of 50 items. Inovasi pemanfaatan film kartun dalam dapat dijadikan hal yang menarik bagi siswa pembelajaran bahasa inggris. Salah satu hal yang mendasari alasan penggunaan media tersebut adalah terkait dengn manfaat media dalam keberhasilan belajara mengajar di kelas. Media pembelajaran yang tepat dapat membangkitkan minat belajar yang tinggi, memberikan rangsangan kepada siswa untuk mempelajari lebih dalam lagi tentang materi terkait , sehingga memudahkan siswa dalam pemahaman dan penyerapan informasi.
