Educational leaders in carrying out tasks and implement its vision and mission in need of power (power). By having the power, the leader obtains an instrument to affect the behavior of followers. Leaders should not just assess his conduct themselves so that they can understand how they affect the behavior of other people, but also a leader should be willing and able to assess their positions and how to use the power. Power as part of the inhern leadership is closely linked with ethics. In the implementation of power and leadership are certainly going the process of communication and interaction between multiple people within an organization. In the process, the leader will use the power in all its aspects. Leaders can use their powers for good or evil, as well as the values and code of ethics. A leader may be the one deciding factor of how these leaders use a variety of power sources that are available to bring the institution with quality services.

In the colonial era, various ways were done as a frontal effort from The Netherlands to stop the Islamic education that developed in some Islamic educational institutions which at that time was formed by pesantren and madrasah.Then on its development result to the dichotomy of educational institutions in Indonesia.Then on its development resulted in the dichotomy of educational institutions in Indonesia.This research uses literature method, which is a technique of collecting data through scientific literacy on the development of Islamic education institutions in Indonesia with the aim of revealing the travel side of Islamic institutions.So the results of this study can be useful to be a study of institutions of education.The result of this research is that many Netherlands colonial efforts to stop the educational process of Islamic education institutions under the pesantren and madrasah system.These efforts include the establishment of Priesnterraden, a strict supervision of educational processions in Islamic educational institutions; then published Teacher's Ordinance and Wild School Ordinance, as well as other efforts discussed in this study.

The Government should be grateful to PTKIS who continue to serve the student education rights. In the present condition, PTKIS should be invited together to find the best solution. This is done so that the service and quality of learning can still be maintained. The fate of lecturers and private employees remains assured.

Inovasi yang behubungan dengan kualitas proses pelaksanaan pendidikan vokasi sangat ditunjang oleh atribusi guru profesional dan latar pengalaman pendidikan. Nowadays, Islamic higher education must be able to understand the change and do the transformatio... more Nowadays, Islamic higher education must be able to understand the change and do the transformation of management in various sectors. In this perspective, as one of the efforts to improve quality and competitiveness in the era of revolution 4.0. Therefore, Islamic higher education needs to make a breakthrough, by building benchmarking among universities. Besides, it is also necessary to transform the management of information technology, towards a model of Islamic higher education becoming an international class. This study used a qualitative approach in term of case studies. Therefore, this research was natural, descriptive and inductive, by understanding the meaning behind the phenomenon or event in the subject under study. The results of this study explained that the significance of the development of the quality of higher education at Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo University could not be separated from benchmarking as an approach and strategy to achieve the progress. In addition, to effectively implement benchmarking, Nurul Jadid University used SWOT analysis for an internal and external environment of the organization.

The study population was all third-semester students of Nurul Jadid University Paiton Probolinggo... more The study population was all third-semester students of Nurul Jadid University Paiton Probolinggo and IAI Ibrahimy Genteng Banyuwangi with education statistics courses. The research sample was purposive sampling technique. Quantitative research using the quasiexperimental method uses non-equivalent control group design with the TTHL pre-test and post-test treatment. Instrument data collection in the form of observations, closed questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing include Manova test and t-test. Testing the hypothesis prerequisites using the normality test (Column of Smirnov) and homogeneity test (Box's Manova). The results showed that from multivariate testing with Sig. (p) 0.000 < 0.05 which means the first hypothesis (H1) is accepted. TTHL is also proven to be effective in improving learning outcomes as evidenced by the comparison of the mean values of increase (significance) of the experimental class and the control class which have a difference in the value of 14.57 with the advantages of the experimental group (24.26: 9.69). In addition, the results of the hypothesis test obtained the Sig. (p) equal to 0.017 < 0.05 which means the second hypothesis (H1) is accepted.

This study used a qualitative approach, carried out at the Nurul Jadid Paiton Islamic Boarding School with 10 MBKM participating students as subjects. This type of research uses case studies.
