A report by Channel 12 of the Israeli Broadcasting Authority revealed a significant increase in the number of Israeli settlers who have left the occupied territories in recent years. The report highlights the growing concern among Israeli authorities and experts regarding the erosion of human capital, economy, and social cohesion. According to a new study by researchers from Tel Aviv University, based on data from the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics, a total of 268,930 people left the occupied territories for at least three months between 2023 and 2025. The number of individuals leaving in 2023 was approximately 86,500, in 2024 it was around 91,500, and in 2025 it exceeded 90,900, which is a substantial increase compared to the average of approximately 60,000 people per year in the past decade.
