Strengthening circular partnerships to scale plastics recycling. We are happy to announce that we signed a new agreement with Eco+Eco (Gruppo Veritas), reinforcing the partnership launched in 2025 to develop recycled polymers. This agreement expands the production and commercialization of recycled polyolefins and polystyrene from plastic waste streams that previously had limited industrial recycling opportunities. In particular, the recycling of expanded polystyrene and will provide additional feedstock for our Porto Marghera site. By strengthening our collaboration with Eco+Eco, we are further advancing an integrated local model that connects waste management with the chemical industry, helping ensure the continuity, quality and traceability of secondary raw materials while supporting the transition towards a more circular plastics value chain.   Read more about it https://lnkd.in/dFbaREta   #chemistrybypeopleforpeople

We presented at Porto Marghera the new Refence® EPS 3000 PM, showcasing how high-quality recycled polymers can enable circular solutions for applications such as direct contact food packaging. Produced through mechanical recycling, Refence® integrates recycled feedstock from post-consumer food packaging while meeting European regulatory requirements, including Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation targets. A new chapter begins at our Brindisi industrial site.   The future Eni Storage Systems Gigafactory will contribute to the development of stationary batteries for renewable energy storage and grid stability, transforming part of the site into a hub for a strategic sector of the energy transition.   An important step in the evolution of the site and in the creation of new opportunities for the local value chain.
