We’re incredibly grateful to Life Sciences WA for the support and recognition. It’s an honour to be selected under CSL ’s sponsorship for Startup Alley at the BioInnovation Festival. CSL’s global leadership in rare and serious diseases resonates deeply with us - both professionally and personally. Rare diseases affect over 300 million people globally, and many involve complex feeding challenges requiring nasoenteric support. Yet despite this scale, feeding tube securement remains largely unchanged. At Nasella, we’re building a movement-responsive securement system designed to work with the realities of patient movement - with the goal of reducing dislodgement, injury risk, and repeated interventions across care settings. We’re proud to be part of WA innovation alongside such an exceptional community. Come say hi at BioInnovation Perth on March 11 to see the future of feeding tube securement through Nasella’s eyes. #BioInnovationFestival #MedTech #WAInnovation
🌟Exciting News: Sponsored Startups at the 2026 BioInnovation Festival! We’re thrilled to announce that Meaghan Kiely of Nasella and Alur Saguinsin of One Kidney have been selected to receive full sponsorship by CSL to showcase their innovations at Startup Alley. 🚀 Nasella is developing a movement-responsive securement device for nasoenteric feeding tubes, reducing injury and tube dislodgement while accommodating natural patient movement. 🚀 One Kidney is creating a next-generation dialysis membrane to improve filtration efficiency, with the long-term goal of enabling wearable and implantable artificial kidneys.
