    According to SolarPower Europe, solar hit 2,778 TWh of global generation last year. To put that into perspective, this completely replaces five full years of LNG tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. In fact, one single year of new solar additions outpaces the total annual LNG flow through that volatile chokepoint by 20%. Solar now provides 9% of global electricity, up from 3% only 5 years ago. Every new solar and BESS installed is another step towards a better, cleaner, safer world. Let's keep doing what were doing.
