#ForTheLoveOfFood → Angel Hill Food Co., our specialist contract catering division, relies on a network of people you rarely see: regional growers, local food producers and the college tutors training the next generation of chefs. Together they bring knowledge, craftsmanship and expertise into our kitchens every day. Those relationships build resilient supply networks and support regional businesses. They also give our chefs a deeper understanding of every ingredient they use, and connect customers to the people behind every meal. Working with colleges matters as much as working with growers. It helps develop the next generation of chefs and keeps fresh thinking coming into our kitchens. The food we serve is shaped long before it reaches the kitchen. It starts with the people who make it possible. Learn more in the link below ↓ https://lnkd.in/eR9G4DEX #WeAreOCS

Every evening at the bp pulse LIVE venue in Birmingham 🎶, our Accessibility Team helps thousands of guests enjoy live events with comfort, confidence and dignity. Accessibility happens in the moments that matter. Whether it's: → Seating customers with autism or anxiety near the edge of a ramp, so they can step away whenever they need to. → Giving autistic children the space to move freely, helping families relax and enjoy the show. → Seating customers who are deaf or hard of hearing close to the stage, so they can feel the music through its vibrations. → Washing and drying a customer's clothing during a show if they need assistance, helping them continue their evening with dignity. → Accompanying customers to accessible facilities, collecting refreshments, waiting nearby, and providing a wheelchair escort back to the car park after the event. Accessibility is created through thoughtful actions, empathy and colleagues who take the time to understand what each person needs. This #DisabilityPrideMonth, thank you to our Accessibility Teams across much-loved venues up and down the country whose care and commitment help make people and places the best they can be. #WeAreOCS #TRUEValues #DPM2026 🌈 Scope Lewis Punton

#PassengerServices → For years, colleague Maria Coyle avoided family holidays because travelling through an airport with her autistic sons felt overwhelming. Today, she walks through those same terminals every day, helping other families make journeys they once thought were impossible. This #DisabilityPrideMonth, we're sharing Maria's story. It's a powerful reminder that lived experience brings a unique perspective to the way we support others. Through compassion, understanding and practical support, Maria helps passengers feel confident, respected and included from the moment they arrive at Dublin Airport. Her journey into Passenger Services shows how understanding and #Inclusion can make a lasting difference. Four pelican chicks have hatched in St James's Park for the first time in the park's 360-year history. It's a rare achievement. St James's Park is only the second place in the UK where this has happened. The two-month-old chicks are being cared for by their parents, with support from The Royal Parks' wildlife team. Although pelicans have lived in #StJamessPark for centuries, chicks hatching is completely new, and a happy surprise for the small colony of six. The new arrivals join Isla, Tiffany, Gargi, Sun, Moon and Star. Congratulations to the whole team at The Royal Parks. Caring for London's historic green spaces takes real dedication, and moments like this show what that dedication makes possible. We're glad to play our part behind the scenes, and we'll be watching the chicks grow with everyone else. Well worth a visit if you're near St James's Park this summer. 🐦 #WeAreOCS

As an ongoing charity partner of Scotty's - the military bereavement charity we were honoured to support this year's #SummerFestival, where colleagues from our #SecurityTeam volunteered their time to help create a safe, secure and welcoming environment for more than 200 bereaved military children, young people and families. The event, attended by Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, Scotty's Global Ambassador, brought families together for a day of friendship, connection and fun. By helping the event run safely and smoothly, our volunteers enabled families to focus on what mattered most: spending time together and creating lasting memories. The feedback from Scotty's means a great deal to everyone involved: 💬 “Your commitment to making the Summer Festival a success was clear from the very beginning. Your knowledge, reassurance and expertise throughout the planning process gave us confidence and played a vital role in ensuring the event was safe, secure and enjoyable for everyone. "Your team were professional, approachable and reassuring throughout the day, helping everyone feel safe and welcome. Thank you all for your support and dedication. We couldn't have asked for a better team, and we hope to work with you again in the future.” Georgina Flanagan Events Manager SLS. Supporting communities is an important part of making people and places the best they can be. Through our partnership with #Scottys, we're proud to stand alongside a charity that provides life-changing support to bereaved Forces families. 💬 "I'm incredibly proud of colleagues who volunteered their time to support Scotty's Summer Festival. They brought security professionalism, care and reassurance to every part of the day. The feedback from Scotty's reflects the commitment our teams show every day, and it's a fantastic example of OCS in action." Bruce McDonnell, Managing Director, Private FM, OCS UK & Ireland. A huge thank you to every OCS colleague who gave up their Saturday to volunteer. Reflecting on the award, Adam Green, Area Security Manager, said: "This recognition is greatly appreciated by me and the team at Worcester and shows that the hard work our security officers do each day to keep people safe doesn't go unnoticed." Talent doesn't always fit a traditional recruitment mould. Sometimes, it simply needs an opportunity to be seen. During #DisabilityPrideMonth, we're sharing the story of Heather Andrews, Venue Housekeeping Manager at Manchester Central Convention Complex, who has helped create opportunities for people who may otherwise have been overlooked through OCS's #TRUEInclusion programme. Working alongside The Growth Company, Heather and her team have taken a different approach to recruitment, focusing on potential, removing barriers and creating an environment where people can thrive. 👉 The result? New colleagues bringing valuable skills, fresh perspectives and making a meaningful contribution to the operation. It's a powerful reminder that when barriers are removed, talent can shine.
