  • Recap of our last AI x Climate Tech event in Amsterdam 🌱 5 live demos of agentic AI in energy & climate. Founders sharing what they're building to accelerate the transition to net zero. Thanks to everyone who joined, and to our panel for sharing their insights! Next one's coming up. Stay tuned!

What are real world applications of agentic AI in the energy & climate transition? Start of this month we gathered founders, tech leads and investors to share concrete examples. Five builders, five live demos of agentic AI actually running in energy and climate domain: Robert Keus on accountable and energy efficient AI infrastructure, Pim Rutgers on autonomous building control through agents, Peter Hofstede on technical support for OEMs, Marc-Steffen Kaesz on how to log, observe and evaluate agentic workflows, and our own Joanne Lijbers on what it takes to run multi-agent systems reliably. What I took away: ✅ Building something unqiue: to stand out in your services and defensibility of your company, build an agent harness that captures your domain knowledge and gather feedback to continuously iterate and learn. ✅ Thick tools, thing agents: only uses LLMs on complex, fuzzy, mostly text-based solutions and bake the remaining into tools. ✅ The difference between a LLM-based proof-of-concept and production-grade system: thinking about all edge cases and unglamourous processes from access control to fallbacks. Thanks to everyone joining! And specifically to our partner Langfuse by ClickHouse! As well as GreenPT , Next Sense, Chapter, and Enjins for taking the stage. More of these after the summer! #AgenticAI #Climate #Energy #LLMOps #AgentHarness

  • The Enjins Summer Summit 2026 is a wrap!🎋🐼 A big thanks to WWF for welcoming us to their office. We were inspired to visit them given their positive climate impact and dedication to worldwide nature conservation. Next, our team of 25 AI engineers hit the office of The Good Roll | B Corp for a high-intensity hackathon. Our goal? Force ourselves to leverage newest AI developments to the absolute fullest, and build a product that drives real sustainable impact: 🧻 For The Good Roll: How do we prevent downtime in their factories in Ghana so they can scale their sustainable mission? In just 8 hours, we deployed a factory intelligence system featuring predictive maintenance, automated notifications for floor managers, and an MT insights layer. A fantastic combination of maximizing our impact while having an insane amount of fun! 🙌 Thanks to everyone involved for making this happen: Sander de Klerk, Adriaan Hendrikse and Michael, Martijn Awater, Eva Abbenhuis, Dennis Geestman and Benjamin Hoogstraten

  • 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 Next Sense, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗜-𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀 We're proud to share what we've been building together with Next Sense over the past months. Next Sense helps real estate portfolios decarbonize through in-depth building diagnostics. Each analysis takes around 60 hours of expert work. Their team of building experts is their greatest asset, but scaling that expertise across growing portfolios was becoming a real bottleneck. Together, we developed a multi-agent AI system that supports their experts in analyzing sensor data and technical documents. The agents handle the heavy lifting; the experts handle the judgement. From design sprint to production MVP in under 12 weeks. Self-hosted on Azure for full data sovereignty. And fully transferred to their engineering team for long-term ownership, because the goal was never dependency, it was capability. The building expertise stays with Next Sense. • 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗗𝗙𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀. Shypple’s mission is to digitize and simplify global trade. But scaling a digital platform means the volume of unstructured data scales with you. To tackle this, we partnered with them. We build along side with their team for a robust AI foundation that delivered immediate operational impact. The results of the collaboration? ✅ 80% faster document processing: AI now automatically extracts and assigns shipment data from incoming emails and attachments. ✅ Human-in-the-loop: Our operations staff reviews and validates the data, rather than manually typing it out. ✅ More time for what matters: By automating the heavy lifting of data entry, our team has their hands free to proactively manage your exceptions, optimize your routes, and actually talk to you. Technology doesn’t replace the human touch in logistics; it gives us the time to strengthen it. 🤝 Learn more about our collaboration: https://skd.so/bR0AU1

  • Joanne Lijbers has been spending her free time wiring small, locally-run AI models into her agentic coding setup. Experimenting with KV-cache quantization, pushing context windows, and squeezing out tokens per second, all within available RAM. She wrote down her insights on our website. Here are her top 3 findings: (1) Routing beats one-model-fits-all. Stop making one giant model do everything. Route complex reasoning to the big model; let the small one handle narrow, repeatable tasks. (2) Small models + retry loops = surprisingly close to frontier. A smaller model with a cheap test-and-retry loop can match much larger, more expensive models on coding tasks. (3) Quantization is behavior modification, not just compression. It works, but be aware that what comes out isn’t just a smaller version of the same model. Read the full article here 👉 https://lnkd.in/e_fKExJc Will 2026 be the year small AI models finally go into production? Let us hear your thoughts and if this space excites you, we're looking for talented people to join the team! 🚀
