Celebrating our community of entrepreneurial educators!   At Starthub Wageningen, we are proud to have a learning community of entrepreneurial educators, united by our shared passion for entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial agency and the ambition to keep growing.   Last week, we celebrated two successes. Yvette Baggen who’s been promoted to Associate Professor and Daniela Robinson, promoted to Assistant Professor.   Congratulations Yvette and Daniella! Very well-deserved and your dedication and drive inspires the rest of the community as well.   And that’s not the only thing we were celebrating. As a first tangible outcome of our community, we have also co-created a renewed vision on entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial learning at Wageningen University & Research. 🏆 Looking back at the finals of the Wageningen Entrepreneurship Grant 2026! Six great startups talked about their ideas. Two teams won the prizes: The Future Resources Award (€25,000) was won by Salma Rian, EngD and her initiative HydraPeck. HydraPeck is developing the first high moisture feeding system designed specifically for large scale poultry production. Salma will use the money to perform a Life Cycle Assessment. Both the Future Planet Award (€25,000) & the Get Unstuck Award (€7,500) were won by Milo Kleijnjan and his team, and their initiative OmnoMyco. They combine culinary expertise, scientific insight, and entrepreneurial drive to bring new, wild mushroom species from the forest into controlled cultivation. Milo and his team will use the money to build a new controlled cultivation chamber. Good job to all finalists: Demeter42, Nettle Project, Beyond Bioplastic, and Kairos Green Tech.
