A little creativity can go a long way! 💖 Our Vanderlande Marietta team recently came together to create Belong Bracelets and handwritten cards for Georgia Kids Belong's I Belong Project. The project helps amplify the voices of children in Georgia's foster care system who are waiting for adoptive families, and each bracelet and note helps remind them that they are valued, supported, and belong. From bracelets with words like hope, belong, brave, and joy to heartfelt messages of encouragement, every contribution was made with kindness and care. It was inspiring to see colleagues come together to support such a meaningful cause. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped spread encouragement, connection, and a sense of belonging. #VanderlandeCares #GeorgiaKidsBelong

Baggage handling performance is no longer defined by speed alone. Our TUBTRAX ICS supports high-capacity operations with features such as in-tub screening, mixed flow transport, and digital‑ready capabilities that enable predictive maintenance. By keeping bags in their carriers throughout the entire process, it enables a controlled and efficient flow across transport, screening, storage, and sortation. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/evsu6R9d

How can security lanes help airports reach their sustainability goals? 🌱 In this Unpacking Insights vlog, our expert Iris explains how modern security lanes contribute to a more sustainable airport operation. She highlights three key ways security lanes support sustainability: ✔️Lower energy use: smarter design and efficient drive technology reduce energy consumption. ✔️A sustainable lifecycle: modular, upgradeable designs and recyclable materials reduce waste and extend lifetime value. ✔️A better experience for people: quieter, more ergonomic lanes and increased automation support operators and help passengers move through faster. Sustainability doesn’t stop at the technology itself, it’s about smarter design choices that benefit the airport, its people and the planet. 🎥 Watch the video to learn more Read more: https://lnkd.in/epAKumhR

The aviation industry is experiencing sustained growth, with more passengers travelling for business and leisure every year. According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), global air passenger demand is expected to more than double by 2050, growing at around 3% annually. This growth is placing increasing pressure on airport infrastructure and operational performance. 📈 The surge in passenger volumes is driving a clear need for more efficient, scalable airport operations—particularly in baggage handling. However, growth also brings complexity. Many airports are already operating close to capacity, with limited space for expansion. At the same time, labour shortages continue to challenge day-to-day operations worldwide. Without meaningful innovation, airports risk reduced operational efficiency, increased costs and difficulty achieving long-term sustainability targets. 🎯 Read more about our vision for automating the handler processes at airports: https://lnkd.in/eyRn5P-T

“Designing intuitive, predictable, “brain-friendly” operations isn’t optional anymore, it drives productivity and resilience.” says Marc van Neerrijnen, Director Systems Engineering. In today’s parcel and distribution centres, every second counts. Throughput, uptime and the ability to scale during peak moments determine whether a network succeeds or struggles. However, behind every high-performing operation stands something far less prevalent than automation or predictive analytics – the wellbeing of the people who keep the systems running. ❤️🩹📦 Read more about psychological and cognitive wellbeing in this blog: https://lnkd.in/emwcvjgd
