We are pleased to share our latest peer reviewed publication in Trends in Biotechnology, the result of a strong collaboration between VectorY Therapeutics, Wageningen University & Research, and led by PhD student Linda de Jong. Plug-in hybrid baculovirus expression vector for high yield recombinant adeno-associated virus gene therapy vector production. “What if someone very close to you were to get ALS – what would you do differently?” That challenge, posed by Marcel Didden, who has been living with ALS since 2019, set the tone for a powerful session in our Amsterdam office during ALS Awareness Month. Together with Eus van Leeuwen, a former caregiver, our guests shared deeply personal perspectives that underscored what progress in ALS research truly means to people living with ALS and families. They reminded us why we must keep accelerating, keep pushing further, and stay relentlessly focused on what matters most.
