explore strategies to mitigate its impact, thereby improving educational
standards and integrity. A qualitative descriptive approach is employed,
utilizing literature reviews and observational analysis of corruption-related
cases in the education sector. Data is collected through document analysis,
interviews with education stakeholders, and a review of policies related to anticorruption measures in educational institutions. The findings reveal that
corruption manifests in multiple forms, including academic fraud, grade
manipulation, admissions bribery, and examination supervision dishonesty.
These issues contribute to the decline of educational quality, the erosion of
public trust in institutions, and the loss of ethical values in academia. The study
concludes that educational reforms focusing on transparency, stricter
regulations, and the enforcement of anti-corruption policies are essential.
Moreover, instilling integrity and ethical values early is crucial in fostering a
corruption-free academic environment. This research contributes to the
development of policies and strategies for educators, policymakers, and
society to combat corruption in education, ultimately promoting a more
credible and high-quality educational system.

It provides an overview of school-society collaboration, tracing its historical evolution and theoretical foundations, while highlighting its significance in fostering robust educational frameworks. The study identifies key stakeholders-families, local communities, governments, private sector entities, and NGOs-and examines their contributions to the collaborative ecosystem. Mechanisms facilitating collaboration, such as parent-teacher associations, community programs, and partnerships with local businesses, are analyzed to illustrate their impact on educational improvement. The benefits of such collaboration include enhanced student performance, social and emotional development, and strengthened community identity and cohesion. However, challenges such as socioeconomic barriers, communication gaps, and policyrelated constraints are acknowledged, necessitating targeted interventions. Recommendations focus on strengthening partnerships, promoting inclusivity, developing sustainable models, and building stakeholder capacity to ensure effective collaboration. This study highlighted the importance of integrating collective responsibility in advancing primary education and fostering a shared commitment to societal development.

learning of the Igbo language in secondary schools within Onitsha North
Local Government Area, Anambra State, Nigeria. Through a descriptive
survey design, data were gathered from teachers and students, offering
insights into the real-world dynamics at play. The results reveal that
students' performance is closely tied to the qualifications of their teachers,
with those who are specialized in Igbo making a noticeable difference in
academic outcomes. However, the study also uncovers several hurdles:
the lack of necessary instructional materials, limited time for thorough
teaching, and the persistent issue of mother-tongue interference, which
complicates students' ability to master Igbo pronunciation and spelling. The
home environment emerged as a double-edged sword in this study. On
one hand, parental involvement and encouragement play a crucial role in
supporting language learning. On the other, the frequent use of nonstandard language forms at home can impede students' progress in
mastering Igbo. Ultimately, this study underscores the need for a
multifaceted approach to improve Igbo language education

It involved 140 teachers from eight schools, selected via simple random sampling. A 15-item structured questionnaire on a 4-point Likert scale was used for data collection, achieving full response rates. Data analysis utilized frequency and mean scores with a 2.5 cutoff for interpretation. The findings revealed that both intrinsic and extrinsic factors, such as fair remuneration, supportive working environments, public recognition, and access to professional development, significantly enhance teachers' motivation. Conversely, inadequate motivation due to low pay, lack of resources, and limited career advancement opportunities was found to negatively impact teachers' performance and increase turnover rates. The study highlights the importance of implementing strategies that foster teacher motivation to improve educational quality and student outcomes in the region. Recommendations were made for policymakers and educational administrators to prioritize teacher motivation as a means to enhance the sustainability of primary education.

Employing a survey design, data were collected from three randomly selected schools within the institution using a structured questionnaire. The questionnaire, validated for clarity and reliability, targeted both demographic information and specific issues related to examination malpractice. Data on causes, effects, and solutions to malpractice were collected from 100 students. The study identified key contributing factors such as the overemphasis on certificates, poor student preparation, unqualified lecturers, and an unconducive school environment. Chi-square statistical analysis revealed significant correlations between these factors and the prevalence of malpractice. The findings highlight that examination malpractice not only undermines academic integrity but also devalues Nigerian educational qualifications, hampers innovation, and produces inadequately prepared graduates. Addressing these challenges requires comprehensive reforms to restore trust and improve the overall quality of education in Nigeria. This study underscores the urgent need for systemic changes to combat malpractice and enhance educational standards.

Additionally, the study discusses the challenges families face, such as economic inequalities, family instability, and the overemphasis on genetic factors, which can hinder the child's educational potential. In addressing these challenges, the study suggests practical roles for parents in supporting their children's education, the importance of collaboration between families and schools, and the need to overcome socioeconomic barriers to enhance the educational experience. The findings underscore the necessity of strengthening family contributions to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive academically and intellectually.

The primary aim of the present study is to understand how demographic, economic, cultural, policy, and environmental factors influence primary school populations, and how various socialization agents, including families, peers, media, schools, and government institutions, contribute to shaping children's educational experiences. This research uses a theoretical review method by obtaining data from various sources of books, journals and so on. The study identifies key demographic trends such as birth rates, migration, and urbanization, as well as economic challenges like poverty and disparities in access to educational resources, that directly affect school enrollment patterns. Cultural attitudes toward education, gender roles, and government interventions, particularly in terms of policy and funding, further influence these dynamics. Additionally, health crises and access to sanitation are recognized as critical environmental factors impacting primary school populations. The study also looked into the role of socialization agents in influencing children's educational decisions and retention. Families, particularly parents' educational background and socioeconomic status, play a significant role in shaping children's educational trajectories. Peer influence, media representations of schooling, and the school environment itself are all important socialization forces that impact children's school choices, attitudes toward education, and retention. Moreover, community involvement and advocacy by local and national organizations are essential for fostering educational equity and inclusion. The study discusses the interplay between these socialization agents and how they contribute to school enrollment, retention, and overall educational equity. Despite the positive impact of these collaborations, several challenges persist, including socioeconomic disparities, cultural barriers, and institutional constraints. Finally, the paper offers policy recommendations aimed at improving primary school enrollment, strengthening the role of socialization agents, and promoting greater inclusivity and equity in primary education. This research pointed out the need for a collaborative approach to education that involves families, communities, schools, and policymakers in creating an equitable and accessible primary education system for all children.

Methodology: Employing a descriptive survey design, data was collected from 230 primary five pupils in five randomly selected schools using a structured questionnaire. The study aimed to address three research questions: identifying major factors causing disciplinary problems, determining types of disciplinary issues, and examining strategies employed by school administration and teachers to address these problems. Findings: Analysis revealed that peer group influence, neglect of parental advice, poor educational planning, misunderstandings about peer groups, and poor enabling environments were significant factors contributing to disciplinary issues. Common disciplinary problems included tardiness, juvenile delinquency, fighting, insulting teachers, and environmental influences. While organizing seminars and engaging students in class workouts were ineffective, promoting a reading culture emerged as an accepted strategy for addressing disciplinary problems. Conclusion: These findings highlight the complex nature of disciplinary issues in primary schools and provide valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and stakeholders seeking to develop targeted interventions and improve the overall learning environment for students.
