Recent polling for Sweden's September 13, 2026, parliamentary election shows the Social Democrats maintaining a clear lead at roughly 32 percent, with the Sweden Democrats holding steady in second place around 19-20 percent and the Moderate Party trailing at 16-18 percent. This consistent gap has reinforced trader consensus that the Sweden Democrats will finish second, reflecting stable voter preferences amid the right-wing government's term and the opposition's bloc advantage. No major shifts in party standings or late-breaking events have altered these trends in recent weeks, though final campaign developments and turnout could still narrow margins between the Sweden Democrats and Moderates before election day.
