Inclusion doesn't happen by chance. That's why Scania once again took part in Stockholm Pride this weekend. Together with colleagues from across Scania and the TRATON GROUP, as well as friends, families and supporters, we marched in support of inclusion, belonging and everyone's right to be themselves. Creating spaces where everyone feels welcome, respected and able to be themselves requires intention. It's something we all have a role in building every day. Every smile, every conversation and every cheer along the route yesterday showed what those values look like in action. Thank you to everyone who walked with us, supported us from the sidelines and helped make yet another Pride so special. The parade may be over for now, but our commitment to inclusion will – and should – continue every day. 🏳️🌈💙

  • An exceptional leader who inspires her peers through her actions and vision. That person is our Head of Business Control, Chassis, Cabs and Buses Jenny Lithén. This year, she is one of the role models who Scania recognises a bit extra. She is the recipient this year’s recipient of Scania’s annual Erik Nilsson scholarship, that goes to a skilled person within administration, finance or marketing. Erik Nilsson himself was the commercial director at Scania, a strategist and visionary who worked at the company for more than 30 years. Jenny is known to lead by example, and has a great ability to handle complex projects, even under pressure. In her role as Business Controller, she serves as a role model not only for her team but for the broader organisation. She maintains close integration with operations and management, bridges gaps and fosters seamless collaboration. “Leadership is a continuous learning journey, and I’m fortunate to be surrounded by inspiring leaders and colleagues who encourage collaboration and continuous growth,” she says. Her approach to work is rooted in the Scania way and our core values; customer first, respect for the individual, elimination of waste, determination, team spirit, and integrity. One of her strengths is the alignment with Scania’s principles, something that becomes evident in the way she ensures every decision reflects our shared values. Jenny’s leadership is not just about directing others; it is about empowering her colleagues to reach their full potential, and at Scania, we are thankful to have her.

  • Scania’s agreement with Wibax for 105 battery-electric trucks is the EU’s largest electric bulk transport deal to date. It highlights the growing momentum behind electrification. Wibax, a bio-oils and liquid chemicals specialist operating across Sweden, Finland and Norway, is committed to making the shift towards sustainable, electric transport and sees Scania as an ideal long-term partner. Jonas Wiklund, CEO of Wibax Group, says, “We need to work with a supplier with whom we can work with strategically and for the long-term, and that’s Scania.” “We want to electrify our fleet quickly, and with Scania we can ensure that we introduce the new technology as quickly as possible to be able to achieve electrification in the timeline we have set out.” Tobias Ejderhamn, Scania’s Head of Global Sales, e-truck solutions, adds, “For Scania, such a large deal underlines our profound belief that battery-electric vehicles represent a strategic opportunity for our customers, especially with regards to future-proofing fleets to meet developing emissions standards.” The transition to electric transport is gaining momentum, with partnerships like this showing how ambitious fleet operators are turning plans into reality. • 1,250 metres below ground, there’s no room for compromise. And that’s exactly where Scania’s battery-electric trucks are at work. In partnership with LKAB, purpose-built solutions are operating both on the surface and deep beneath the Malmberget mine in northern Sweden. Proof that, even in the most demanding operations, the future is electric.
