A recent article by Michael Peel in the Financial Times has highlighted emerging research into the role of sleep architecture in brain health, including its link to glymphatic clearance and the removal of toxic proteins associated with neurodegenerative disease.   It is encouraging to see wider awareness of the scientific validation of the therapeutic potential of targeting sleep biology in neurodegeneration – an area we’re pioneering at AstronauTx through the development of first-in-class therapies designed to improve sleep architecture as a novel approach to treating Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological disorders 🧠   Link to article: https://lnkd.in/eexRCHJs
