Twenty-four years after Big Beach Boutique – which brought over 250,000 people to the Brighton seafront in 2002, #FatboySlim returned to the city for a four-day rave. To mark the occasion, DIABOLICAL and JACK ARTS teamed up with JOY. Concerts, LouderUK and BMG to create two bespoke installations. The first was a street-level installation featuring Fatboy Slim’s iconic patterned shirts and a mirrored-head design, inviting passers-by to choose their favourite t-shirt and snap a selfie for a chance to win free VIP tickets to the sold-out shows. The second was a seaside cut-out, giving the perfect photo opportunity ahead of the main act. Tapping into the joy and hijinks the English DJ is best known from, both installations carried fan energy from the street to the stage, putting all eyes on one of Brighton’s biggest days out.

The Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026 are a celebration of sport, culture and community – all set within an eight-mile corridor that brings fans, athletes and the city together. Bringing the spirit of sport to #Glasgow, JACK Scotland and Think ALT agency joined forces, launching a tease-and-reveal creative billboard at Barrowlands to introduce the official mascot, Finnie, to the world. The tattoo-clad, pink and purple haired unicorn (Scotland’s national animal) wearing a glowing-3D acrylic horn was designed by 76 children from 24 schools across Glasgow, encapsulating what modern day Glasgow meant to them. More recently, we unveiled a multi-format city-wide campaign to promote the Glasgow 2026 festivals, activities and athletes, building up on the much-anticipated moment and inviting passers-by to take part. Horrible Science: Cosmic Chaos 🪐 Inviting children and adults to walk in the shoes of astronauts, the newest exhibition at the Science and Industry Museum features playful and interactive challenges, delivering a high-energy voyage through space. Working with the Museum, JACK ARTS delivered an out-of-this world mirror installation that invited passers-by to 'wear' a spacesuit, or see themselves 'spaghettified' by a black hole’s tidal force, causing intrigue and curiosity across Manchester. Alisa Oleva: Joining Invisible Dots As part of our Your Space Or Mine programme, performance and walking artist Alisa Oleva has hosted a series of urban art walks over the past years. In June she travelled north to #Manchester to host two new walks that were unique and site-specific, created for its streets, rhythms, and stories. Alisa created the first walk that explored the hidden messages woven into the city, collectively noticing the invisible and the inaudible, and connecting the invisible dots. She then invited a local walking artist-activist-academic Morag Loiters of the Loiterers Resistance Movement to create the second walk, which encouraged participants to embrace interruptions, diversions, to collectively remap the city from a new perspective. “Go from nil-nil to nil worries.” Extra time, penalties and that sinking, seen-it-all-before feeling. Destination Vancouver’s latest campaign leans straight into World Cup stress then swaps it for slow mornings, good food and a proper reset. JACK teamed up with Paper Trails - street marketing & media agency to bring it to the heart of London, positioning Vancouver as the perfect place to recover after a full-on summer of football. Somewhere to slow down, recharge, and remember what calm feels like. Want a campaign that takes passers-by somewhere else entirely? Let’s talk. 📩 sayhello@jackagency.co.uk

A new exhibition at City Art Centre, Edinburgh traces the empowering legacy Sandra George (1957-2013), a community worker and artist working at the intersection of identity and activism. Partnering with The City of Edinburgh Council for the launch, BUILDHOLLYWOOD Scotland returned her photographs to the streets where they were made, showing her distinctive style capturing community, family and the lives of young people. Presented on our sites from Meadowbank to Fountainbridge, they offered a glimpse into George’s practice, and the impact she made on the communities she worked with. Putting readers first. Held at the Southbank Centre, The Bookseller’s 2026 Marketing & Publicity conference brought together marketers and publicists across the book trade to spark new ideas. Through brainstorming panels, publishing industry insights and inspiring keynotes, the event explored how sellers can connect with readers in meaningful ways. Partnering with The Bookseller, JACK ARTS supported the conference’s theme with the Inspiration Station – an interactive hub with creative elements. Designed, made and installed by the JACK ARTS team and our Creative Studio, the hub displayed past publishing campaigns, allowing attendees to envision how #OOH activations can maximise readers' personal experiences, elevating their campaigns beyond the classic poster. Having worked regularly with publishers, bookshops, and many other institutions on publishing campaigns, our team at JACK ARTS is well placed to support the industry’s goal in fortifying reading as a fun-filled experience for all.
