Redefine the way the brain is measured and treated to optimise patient outcomes across the care continuum

About us

CoMind is revolutionising brain healthcare with its non-invasive technology, redefining how the brain is measured and treated to optimise patient outcomes across the care continuum. Based in London, CoMind designs and manufactures a groundbreaking approach to brain monitoring, which provides a multidimensional view of brain activity using light. It enhances patient safety, improves healthcare economics, and improves clinical outcomes. Their AI-powered platform, CoVision, delivers predictive insights, enabling clinicians to anticipate complications. With a focus on precision medicine, CoMind is setting new standards in brain health, from intensive care to surgeries to the emergency room. CoMind is backed by leading investors such as Octopus Ventures, LocalGlobe, Angelini Ventures and Crane Venture Partners, alongside several high profile angel investors. We are currently hiring for multiple roles: https://comind.jobs.personio.com/.

We're hiring for a Founders Associate at CoMind. We're looking for someone who thrives on high autonomy and wants a steep learning curve.

    View profile for Holly Burns

Chief of Staff at OLIX & CoMind

I'm hiring a Founders Associate into the CEO Office. CoMind is redefining how the brain is measured and treated. CoMind One gives clinicians a view into the brain that has never been possible before — non-invasive, comprehensive, across the entire care continuum. CoVision, our AI-native clinical intelligence layer, turns those signals into insights that improve patient care. This role sits at the centre of it: working directly across strategy and company-scale execution. High autonomy, high exposure, steep learning curve. If that's you, or someone you know, the JD is here: https://lnkd.in/eeYzRWj6

CoMind is on a mission to build the world's most comprehensive monitoring platform for every patient, across the entire care continuum. We're building CoMind One to give clinicians a new view into the brain, one that has never been possible before. CoVision, our AI-native clinical intelligence, turns those signals into insights that help clinicians improve patient care. We're growing across engineering (hardware, software, optical), clinical, data science & ML, people ops and more. If you want to work on hard problems that matters, come build with us: - Director of Hardware Engineering - Electronics Architect - Electronics Engineering Manager - FPGA Architect - Optical Engineering Manager - Staff Optical Engineer - Mechanical Eng Manager - Principal Data Scientist - Any many others across Software, Optics, Systems, Testing and People Ops. We are hiring in London, Bristol & the US. Apply: https://lnkd.in/eEPSss6n

We're proud to announce the publication of CoMind's first two peer-reviewed papers in Neurophotonics. Continuous, non-invasive monitoring of cerebral blood flow at the bedside is one of the most important unmet needs in critical care — and one of the longest-standing goals of biomedical optics. Today's publications mark a significant step toward making this a reality. The two companion papers, led by Dominic Hill and Veronika Parfentyeva, make the scientific case for CoMind's approach and demonstrate that our research prototype, CoMind R1, delivers the performance needed for clinical translation. The first paper establishes exactly what level of performance an optical CBF monitor needs to achieve for its signal to be dominated by the brain rather than surrounding tissue. The second shows that CoMind R1 meets that standard — producing high-fidelity pulsatile blood flow measurements in 25 healthy adults, and demonstrating the ability to detect and localise functional brain activity. These papers are the culmination of years of work by the CoMind team, and we're immensely proud of what they represent — both as a scientific contribution and as a foundation for the clinical technology we're building towards. #Neuromonitoring #CerebralBloodFlow #BiomedicalOptics #CoMind #Neurophotonics

On 15th January, we’re hosting our first CoMind Science Forum - we’re opening our doors to other researchers for the very first time. We’re welcoming a group of brilliant scientists who have helped define the field of optical brain sensing. They’re coming to explore what we’re building at CoMind and to share, challenge, question, and enrich with their decades of scientific experience. At CoMind, we believe true medtech innovation happens at the intersection of rigorous science, ambitious engineering, and real clinical need. Seeking input, collaboration, and scrutiny from leaders in the field is key to ensuring CoMind’s technology is trusted and impactful. This will be the first of a series of CoMind Science Forums as we push towards the release of our first product. We’re excited to be able to share our work and learn from our distinguished guests.

CoMind is hiring 🚨 The brain is our most critical organ, yet in hospitals today it’s still rarely monitored well. Clinicians are often forced to use highly invasive tools or non-invasive ones that lack the accuracy they need. At CoMind, we’re building non-invasive optical technology to make meaningful brain health information continuously available at the bedside, helping improve care for some of the most vulnerable patients. As we head into the new year, if you are looking for a role solving hard, important problems at speed and scale - check out our open roles or reach out to me directly comind.io/careers

CoMind is Hiring! Join us in redefining how we monitor and treat the brain. For decades, doctors treating critically ill patients have been forced to compromise when monitoring the brain: use risky, expensive, highly invasive procedures that require drilling a hole into a patient's skull, or rely on inaccurate non-invasive monitoring that can compromise treatment decisions. Our technology resolves this dilemma for the first time. CoMind One, is designed to non-invasively measure three physiological parameters simultaneously: cerebral blood flow, cerebral autoregulation, and intracranial pressure - something that has never been possible before at the patient bedside. All roles can be found on the CoMind LinkedIn or Careers Page.   🔨 Hardware Product Support Engineer Product Support Technician 🖥️ Software Software Engineer Software Test Engineer 🩺 Clinical & Quality Senior CRA Quality Systems Manager 💸 Finance Finance Lead
