We’re pleased to announce that Exponent portfolio company Ethos Engineering, a leader in sustainable data centre design services, has acquired Hanley Pepper Consulting Engineers, an Ireland-based specialist consultancy in civil and structural engineering. This marks Ethos’ fourth acquisition since Exponent’s investment two years ago. Hanley Pepper brings 39 years of expertise supporting the delivery of data centres and critical infrastructure, complementing Ethos’ capabilities and further enhancing the breadth and depth of its offering to clients. The acquisition, alongside its recent brand launch, reflects Ethos’ continued growth, with the business now employing more than 400 people across 21 countries in EMEA. Congratulations to both teams.
We’re delighted to announce the acquisition of Hanley Pepper Consulting Engineers, an Ireland-based team of civil and structural engineers with 39 years of experience supporting the delivery of data centres and critical infrastructure. Hanley Pepper’s expertise complements and strengthens our existing offering very well. Civil and structural engineering is fundamental to data centre delivery, from the structural integrity of buildings, to the increasingly complex underground infrastructure required to accommodate extensive arrangement of services critical to data centre operations. Bringing Hanley Pepper into the Ethos group allows us to deliver civil and structural engineering services as part of one unified offering, giving clients maximum convenience and simplicity while maintaining the service excellence, commitment and expertise our teams demonstrate every day. We have many clients in common with Hanley Pepper and have worked alongside them on projects across 11 different jurisdictions. Therefore, we know first-hand that they have the right team, culture and values for our business. From day one, they will bring their skills to bear for clients all over EMEA. This acquisition is the fourth we have made as part of our strategy to broaden and enhance our offering at Ethos. With the strong support of Exponent, we now employ over 400 people and operate in 21 countries across EMEA. We are very grateful to our people, our industry colleagues, partners and our valued clients for their ongoing support and look forward to welcoming our new Hanley Pepper colleagues to Ethos!
