Choosing a lighting controller can feel like solving a small electrical system. That is what makes controllers harder to approach. You are not just thinking about output. You are thinking about pulse speed. How much intensity you need. Whether you may need to overdrive. How much power the light uses. What temperatures the system will run at. And once all of those variables start interacting, controller selection can stop feeling straightforward. But once you break it into a few practical questions about the application, it becomes easier to narrow down what matters and what does not: 1. How many lights do you need to control? 2. What is the current rating, voltage rating, and power rating of each light? 3. What communication method do you want? 4. Is the application continuous lighting or strobe lighting?
