💡Introducing DIMM. Our bright idea. Digital Interoperability Maturity Model (DIMM) has been developed in partnership with System Integration Squared to help NHS providers and health technology suppliers understand, assess and improve their interoperability maturity. Digital transformation isn't just about implementing new technologies. It's about creating connected, standards-based systems that can scale, share information safely and support better care. DIMM provides a practical framework to help organisations: • Assess their current interoperability maturity. • Benchmark their capabilities and identify opportunities for improvement. • Create a common language for providers and suppliers to have more informed, evidence-based conversations about interoperability. • Build a roadmap towards more open, scalable and future-ready digital ecosystems. As the NHS continues to focus on initiatives such as Single Patient Records, shared care records, open APIs, FHIR, AI readiness and more transparent procurement, interoperability is becoming a strategic priority, not just a technical one. Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing more about how DIMM works, the thinking behind the model, and how it can help both providers and suppliers take a more structured approach to interoperability.
