Autodocking relies on accurate, dependable situational awareness – particularly when visibility is limited and conditions are challenging. Navtech’s high-resolution W-band radar delivers the consistent target detection and centimetre-level positioning accuracy needed to support safe, reliable autodocking operations. Providing clear, stable data on jetty edges, nearby structures and potential obstacles, radar gives automation systems the confidence to make precise manoeuvres throughout the approach, right up to the point of docking. This helps deliver: ✔️ Dependable docking operations in all weather conditions. ✔️ Consistent performance regardless of lighting conditions. ✔️ Safer, more controlled vessel positioning and approach. ✔️ Greater confidence for both crewed and autonomous vessels. Watch the video to see how radar provides the precise environmental awareness needed for accurate approach and docking manoeuvres. 🔎 Learn more about how Navtech supports autonomous docking – link in the comments. #RadarTechnology #MarineAutomation #MarineAutonomy #SituationalAwareness #MaritimeTechnology

Not just a supplier, but a partner - That's how we work with our customers at Navtech. 'In every perception application you have a lot to gain when you have access to all the raw data of the sensors, and Navtech Radar deliver this. For nearly a decade, we have worked alongside Navtech Radar as a partner. In that time, they have been very supportive, approachable, and flexible.' - Tárik Morato Simão, Commercial Director at LYNX PROCESS. Successful automation projects in bulk material handling are rarely just about the technology - They rely on close collaboration, a deep understanding of operational requirements, and a clear focus on solving real-world challenges. At the Minas Gerais Mine in Brazil, our radar sensors are helping improve production efficiency through automated 24/7 stockpile monitoring. Why integration matters for faster security and operational decisions. Radar, cameras, video management systems and access control each provide valuable information. The real operational value comes when these technologies work together, giving operators a clearer picture of what's happening and helping them verify events and coordinate a response more efficiently. Integration isn't about replacing existing systems. It's about enabling them to work as a connected security ecosystem. Our latest article explores why integrated security is becoming increasingly important for airports and other complex environments. Collaboration is key to delivering safer, smarter transport networks. We're proud to have supported this demonstration with our partner, emst, showcasing how 360° radar AID technology provides fast and accurate incident detection in real world conditions. 🎥 Watch a video of the testing below to see Navtech's ITS solution, ClearWay™, in action. ✔️Testing took place on the R1 expressway in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia ✔️Applications demonstrated include stationary & slow vehicles, pedestrian and debris detection ✔️Navtech's ClearWay™ incident detection verified in real traffic conditions With thanks to emst for leading this successful and professional demo. emst are Navtech's official partner for Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Bulgaria. #ITS #RoadSafety #TrafficMonitoring #TrafficManagement #NavtechClearWay #Collaboration
#emst #NavtechRadar #ITS #RadarDetection #RoadSafety #InteligentnáDoprava #DopravnéTechnológie #BezpečnosťDopravy

Marine environments present frequent visibility challenges, where conditions, such as glare from the water, fog or heavy rain, can significantly reduce situational awareness. Navtech's MAS10 radar is engineered specifically for marine applications to deliver reliable, high‑quality radar data in challenging sea states and reduced visibility. High‑definition W‑band radar performance, combined with advanced filtering and tracking, supports accurate detection when optical sensors are impaired. This enables safer navigation and more confident decision‑making for crewed and uncrewed vessels operating in mission‑critical environments. A red X on a gantry is a critical safety tool—but its effectiveness depends on how fast you can confidently activate it. Many systems rely on inferring an incident by waiting for traffic to slow down upstream. Others use optical technology that can be compromised by bad weather or limited by narrow fields of view. True Automatic Incident Detection (AID) doesn't guess, it doesn't get interrupted by the weather, and it doesn't leave significant blind spots. Navtech’s 360° Radar AID continuously monitors the entire highway, across all lanes and both carriageways, to detect incidents directly. It delivers: 🔹 Comprehensive coverage: Continuous long-range monitoring of every single lane. 🔹 Direct identification: Pinpointing a stopped vehicle instantly, rather than waiting for traffic flow to change. 🔹 All-weather reliability: Uninterrupted performance through fog, heavy rain, glare, and total darkness. 🔹 Immediate visual context: Automatically directing the nearest PTZ camera to the exact location within seconds. When a vehicle stops on a fast flowing highway, operators shouldn't have to wait for congestion to build or the incident to be reported by a member of the public. Direct, full-carriageway detection gives your team the complete awareness they need to take control and protect the scene immediately. #AutomaticIncidentDetection #RoadSafety #TrafficManagement #ITS #NavtechRadar #Highways #NavtechClearWay

Security systems are most effective when they work together. Detection is only the first step. Operators also need to verify what's happening, understand the situation and coordinate a response, often within a matter of seconds. Integrating radar, cameras, and video management systems transforms a single detection into a comprehensive operational view. This enables teams to verify events faster and respond with greater confidence. Our latest article explores why integrated security is becoming increasingly important for protecting airports and other complex sites. https://lnkd.in/ezGzTrBa #IntegratedSecuritySolution More than #PIDS #SituationalAwareness #AirsideSecurity

Airside security systems have become increasingly capable. The challenge is no longer collecting more data. It is helping operators make quicker, better decisions when something unexpected happens. Radar, cameras, access control, ADS-B, and VMS platforms all play important roles, but they deliver the greatest value when they work together as part of a coordinated workflow. Integration should reduce complexity for operators, not add to it. Our latest article explores what integrated security really means for airports and other complex environments, and why the focus should always be on operational outcomes rather than technology.
