We were delighted to attend the opening of Stratford-upon-Avon Foodbank’s new home at Masons Road Hub in Stratford-upon-Avon 💛 Stratford-upon-Avon Foodbank provides vital support to local individuals and families facing hardship, and we're proud to have played a small part in creating a welcoming space for the community. By donating surplus furniture and equipment from our offices, we helped furnish the new hub while enabling funds to be directed where they're needed most – supporting those who rely on the foodbank's services. As Isla, Fundraising Officer at Stratford Foodbank, said: "Because of NFU Mutual's generosity, money we would have spent on furniture can now go directly into serving our community, where it's needed most." Colleagues and allies recently came together at Head Office in Stratford-upon-Avon to mark the occasion, while enjoying a well-earned slice of birthday cake 🎂 Members of our Mutual Pride network also came together at our Glasgow site to celebrate, marking the occasion by launching a fundraiser in support of Galop – the UK charity dedicated to helping LGBTQ+ people affected by abuse and violence. Together, they raised over £500 💛 Mutual Pride is one of our Employee Network Groups, bringing together LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies from across the business. It plays an incredibly important role in creating a supportive, inclusive environment where people feel safe, valued and empowered to be themselves. Over the past three years, the network has grown into a vibrant and active community - helping to: 👉 raise awareness and champion LGBTQ+ inclusion across the organisation 👉 create safe spaces for open conversations and shared experiences 👉 empower our people to bring their whole selves to work, without barriers The impact of Mutual Pride goes far beyond events like today - it contributes to building a culture where inclusion is part of everyday life, helping our people thrive, strengthening collaboration, and reinforcing our commitment to being a great place to work. With temperatures rising this week, it’s been great to see colleagues making the most of a break in the sunshine around our Head Office grounds 🌞 Whether it’s finding a shady spot for a picnic lunch, catching up with colleagues outdoors or simply taking a moment away from the desk, our beautiful grounds are well placed to enjoy some time outside. Word on the street is that ice-creams and iced lattes have been the best-selllers at the NFU Mutual cafe this week!

Following the success of our Farmers Market back in November, we were delighted to welcome it back to Head Office in Stratford-upon-Avon last week 🍯🥖 The market brought together a fantastic mix of local businesses and trusted suppliers, including several who already work closely with NFU Mutual. It was a great opportunity to support local producers, discover new favourites and connect with the people behind the products. This time, alongside the brilliant stalls and samples, our people were treated to Northern Bloc ice cream - a perfect addition for a sunny day 🍦 Whether it was a quick browse, a thoughtful purchase or simply stopping by to soak up the atmosphere (and enjoy a free treat), it was wonderful to see so many colleagues getting involved. This month marks National #PrideMonth 🏳️🌈 Just a few weeks ago, members of our Mutual Pride network came together to attend Birmingham Pride - a fantastic opportunity for friends, colleagues and allies to celebrate inclusion, connection and community. It was a brilliant day, bringing our people together in support of the LGBTQ+ community and reinforcing the importance of creating a workplace where everyone feels safe, valued and able to be themselves. Mutual Pride is one of our incredible Employee Network Groups (ENG) for LGBTQ+ employees and allies, the network plays a vital role in helping us to creating a supportive space for colleagues, raising awareness, and championing inclusion across the business.
