How can we improve quantum performance before fault tolerance? Our latest research explores erasure-based postselection, a technique that improves the fidelity of near-term quantum algorithms by identifying and filtering out computations affected by detectable errors. Alongside the research, we're excited to introduce Erado: an open-source library that makes it easy to simulate erasure noise and postselection on arbitrary Qiskit circuits. Thanks to this tool, researchers can now explore, benchmark and build erasure-aware workflows without creating custom simulation tools from scratch. The results show that postselected dual-rail systems can outperform comparable single-rail architectures at the kiloquop scale, highlighting the potential of erasure-aware quantum computing as we move toward fault tolerance. A brilliant moment for applied quantum machine learning at the QNRL: Advances in Quantum Neural and Reinforcement Learning workshop at the IEEE World Congress of Computational Intelligence 2026 (WCCI 2026) 🚀 OQC’s Senior Solution Architect Rodrigo Chaves and Mastercard’s Lead Quantum Scientist Dr. Bruno Chagas presented our recent paper: "A Mixture-of-Experts Framework for Practical Hybrid-Quantum Models in Credit Card Fraud Detection." The session highlighted the exciting progress being made through OQC and Mastercard’s collaboration, exploring how hybrid quantum-classical models could support more practical, accurate approaches to fraud detection in payments.
