Earlier this week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the newly elected Mayor of Pendle, Councillor Nadeem Ahmed, and Mayoress Rukhsana Begum to Pendleside Hospice. 💛 We are honoured that they have chosen Pendleside Hospice as one of their Charities of the Year, alongside two other fantastic local charities. During their visit, we had the opportunity to show them around the Hospice and chat about some of the exciting fundraising ideas they have planned over the coming year. We can't wait to see these come to life and work together to support local hospice care. You'll also have the chance to meet the Mayor and Mayoress at our Community Day on Sunday 9th August, so come along, say hello and enjoy a fun-filled day with us. 👋🍦🎨

50 days. 50 runs. One incredible challenge. 🏃♀️💛 Last Friday, our amazing fundraiser and Corporate Challenge participant, Fiona Ritchie, completed her 50th and final 5K run, after running 5K every single day for 50 consecutive days in support of Pendleside Hospice. It was a special evening, with Fiona joined by her family, friends and the Pendleside Hospice community to celebrate an incredible achievement. Even more heartwarming was seeing many of the wonderful fundraisers she met during our Race Across Pendle challenge come along to cheer her on, proving that friendships built through fundraising really do last. So far, Fiona has raised an outstanding £9,206 for Pendleside Hospice – an incredible amount that will make a real difference to local patients and their families. 💜 Fiona has one final goal in sight... £10,000! If you'd like to help her reach this amazing milestone and celebrate an unforgettable challenge, every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. You can make a donation here 👉https://lnkd.in/eEw9J34v Please join us in saying a huge thank you and congratulations to Fiona. You are inspirational, and we couldn't be more grateful for everything you've done for Pendleside Hospice. 👏

As part of our Pendleside Hospice Corporate Challenge, we just love getting behind wacky ideas 😏 One of our regulars, Jimmy (a proud Scotsman! 😂) volunteered to have his entire face painted with an England flag before the Quarter-Finals to help us raise money for the hospice. What a class act! Brilliant banter, thanks to his efforts and everyone who donated yesterday - We’ve raised hundreds more pounds for our local hospice 💜 Fair play, Jimmy 🏴 🤝🏻 🏴 Every donation makes a difference - thank you to everyone who has supported our challenge so far! Our next charity event is coming up fast.. 💥 DYCHEFEST 2026 💥 24th, 25th and 26th July, be there!
