Chris Frost shared thisHi all, No doubt you will all have been following the horrific events unfolding in Ukraine over the past few days. I think we can all agree that it is shocking, and the people of Ukraine have a right to any and all support we can give them. My wife is Ukrainian. While she lives in London, her entire family remains in Ukraine, in a medium sized city called Khmelnytskyi. This city is in western Ukraine, and as a result military activity there has so far been light. However, many other Ukrainian citizens are not so lucky, and the need for humanitarian aid grows with every passing hour. There are a number of organisations currently operating to provide as much relief as possible to the Ukrainian people. I have copied links to a number of them below. And three years later, Scopely bought Niantic, Inc.’s games business for $3.5B. Seeing these numbers together is still surreal. A decade ago, mobile gaming studios commanding multi-billion dollar acquisitions would’ve sounded absurd to much of the industry. These were “casual games.” Not something most people associate with the future of entertainment. And yet mobile quietly became one of the most valuable businesses in gaming.
